Good result against a decent Canterra side - the former darlings of the PJDYFL.
Is Reece Thompson ex-Canterra? Left footed defender by any chance?

Yeah they are a good side, our boys were excellent on Sunday, should have been more comfortable though, controlled the game from start to finish.
No, i know that Reece you speak of, but its a goalkeeper i have signed.

Cheers Josh. The Reece Thompson I know, bizarrely, started life as a keeper when I coached a St Cadoc's youth team. Converted to a LB then played at the centre of the defence in an excellent Canterra youth side.
Keep up the good work. Youth fitba takes up many hours of thankless, unpaid volunteer effort. I take my hat off to anyone who commits to that.

FT | Albion Rovers 2 v 4 Arthurlie | CSFA Divisional Cup - Group Section |
GS | Daniel McDonald & Paul Gordon
Strange old game, 2-0 up inside first 15mins, however a lot of subs made in a short space of time upset the balance within our own play. Fair play to Arthurlie who had to win, and done well to get back into it, although 4-2 scoreline is slightly flattering based on the game itself.
Onto a big league game against Vale of Leven on Sunday.
*** I’ll take full responsibility for that tonight, I was more caught up on making sure the squad was fine for a big league game Sunday, and I lost track of the game itself, i thought the subs done well, I just thought it up-set the balance of our play. Too many subs in a short space of time wasn’t the best idea.
Learn and move on. ***

FT | Albion Rovers 0 v 1 Vale of Leven
Footballs a funny old game. However these types of games you’ve seen a million times. In terms of possession we were totally dominant, we had Vale of Leven pinned in their own half for large spells of the game, however we were unable to break them down and for that we must give Vale of Leven credit for their defensive structure. They came with a game plan which was clearly to contain us and play on the break. Once they got their goal from a break away up the park they defended extremely well.
For ourselves we need to try the season as strong as possible, I’m sure we will start scoring freely again.
Next two fixtures:
Sunday 05 May 2019 | Airdrie Lesiure Centre | CSFA (A) League Albion Rovers v Arthurlie 12 Kick Off. ————————————————
Wednesday 08 May 2019 | Reigart Stadium | CSFA (A) League
Albion Rovers v East Kilbride
7:45pm Kick Off.

Haven`t you also had to cope with a lot on injuries, Josh ? yes thats right Grant had 14 players out at one point.. currently we have 7 out injured. 4 of them are out for the season. 3 players out with junior teams also to help with their development. Always room for improvement.. hopefully win a trophy and see how we do in the league.

Yep. With a lot of the players playing for the Reserves it would certainly take its toll. Remarkable season considering.
