They sent out the youth because we sent out the reserves. Start winning this and they will send out Edouard in a panic. Commercially, if sold properly, it's a money spinner. If you cant fill a stadium in Coatbridge when Celtic visit then.....
It's a bond very few clubs have. Use it.
I'm certain ex SPL players Kev and Joe would relish a pop at Celtic. I'm certain every single player at the Rovers would like to be watched by Celtic in a match few other clubs would have the chance to host.
And to top it all the visiting brigg tic fans will have a glimpse at all the Coatbridge San Siro can offer and those without a season ticket or just the plain curious may, just may, be hooked and follow the Mighty Vers.
Not to be sniffed at, imho.

Whilst appreciating the sentiment behind holding this fixture,I would see it as a chance for a certain few to spew their bile.I among many reasons-supporter being one-go to see the Rovers to avoid that element of society. As do I. Just think it's an opportunity to reel in a few other like minded folk.

Was quite glad this game wasn’t on this year complete waste of time Yeh. It's not like we could be doing with the revenue or exposure.

Exactly what exposure do we gain from this game it was an embarrassment last year Celtic under 20s turned up and demolished our reserve team 7-0 so what we are gaining is an embarrassing result online and there is never more than 200 at the game so we wouldn’t gain that much revenue either

Yeh. It's not like we could be doing with the revenue or exposure. Take it seriously and the result wont be embarrassing. More than 200 last year and days gone by it was 1,000+. Not caring who the 1,000 turn up to watch its revenue. If we capture 5% to come to the Vers regularly then it's a win win. Just think it's a great opportunity to be milked but needs to be supported throughout the club including fielding a first XI. Should've been the final friendly game before tomorrow's opener. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.

I agree that we should take it seriously but there was no way there was over 200 there last year

Great opportunity, crowds over the 500 but a great point that the league has started. Should've been played already.
Probably too late.
