Well done to all the players, officials and supporters on a great year.
Just think; but for that injury time penalty against Peterhead...

Excellent day and excellent season. Also what a brilliant support today and throughout the season. The reception they gave the team at the end said it all. Well done to Darren, Billy and the team. Here's to next year.

My first away game of the season and my first trip to Stenhousemuir.
It was nice to meet some of our fans who were all very pleased and genuinely supportive of the team and also very realistic and grateful. That being said there was one (isn't there always!) 'joker' towards the back who was about as funny as leukaemia and louder than the PA. The locals were decent enough of a bit glum considering the plight their side was in.
The game itself was enjoyable enough, though Rovers played more direct than I was expecting especially in the first half. I always think you bring luck into the equation at the sacrifice of your skill when you do that but no faulting the competitiveness and work rate of the team and indeed SFC in the first half.
I felt we clearly lacked a striker but the endeavour of Love and McBride in particular gave their defence trouble and I think that's how the goals came today. I think we'll have to address our ideas in attack going into next season and get in a striker (and we'll do well to keep Love). The back four is the strength this season but they were a bit fortunate today. Conversely I've never been sure on Stewart but he was very good today.
In all, were all rightly very pleased as we sit and reflect tonight. The management and administrators of the club deserve credit as well as the players. What I'm concerned about is just the nature of SPFL leagues. With only ten teams per league it doesn't take much difference for you to plummet down the league (see Forfar and Brechin this season). We have the right model at the moment in giving players a chance and can rightly point to like of Mullin and Gaston for the likes of opportunities we can provide to progress a career but it's hard to establish yourself at any level of football in Scotland as the leagues are so small. So I'm just enjoying tonight and looking forward to seeing what we try to do next season.
Well done all.

Fantastic, beyond all expectations and down right outstanding !!!!!!! Nothing but utter pride and gratitude for that team, the management, the board and all who sail in the Rovers vessel this evening.
Yes, we may pin point certain points of the season were things may have been different, peterhead at home, parry saves in the last derby at Airdrie, the first derby at cliftonhill which to this day still confuses me as to how we lost that game, mcguigan scoring for stranraer, all ironies worth a thought, However, that is all they are, mere thoughts and what ifs.
This should not detract from the unbelievable achievement and strides the club have taken over the last few seasons. We have excelled ourselves. To go to the last game of the season and end up disappointed we didn't get a crack at consecutive promotions............it would have seemed ludicrous at the start of the season. But we beat Ayr and we just continued to find that extra level when required. Small team, small support but Jesso, we make up for that in heart and desire.
I could not be any prouder of our wee club tonight and I urge you all to raise a glass to the boys. Congratulations to each and every one connected with the club. What an outstanding magnificent season. Roll on August.

To cap it off with another great victory on the final day was superb. Yes, we missed out on the promotion play-offs but we were all hoping for 8th place at the start of the season! Already can't wait for the start of next season.

There's not a lot more that I could add to the above comments. I know the season has just finished but does anyone know when the season tickets will go on sale for next season? Thanks Neil.

This is the first time I have responded on this site , but felt that I had to after the events of yesterday. This has been a season in which the club has to be proud of. to miss out on a Championship play of place by a whisker, is something that would have been thought of in the realms of fantasy only a few short years ago.
If we can stand united and with a couple of extra experienced players, we can approach next season with confidence. We have to be aware of the rebound affect that Forfar Athletic suffered this season , however , but I am sure we can avoid this by the sheer effort everyone puts into this club . It has been an emotional experience over the last couple of years - but emotions of joy and long may this continue

A great season with the team very unlucky not to get a play off spot. Well done to the players, manager and coaching staff.
Looking forward to next season already . Hoping Queens Park come up with EF.
