Thanks Chris.
Yeah there is a difference - balls. John at least had the balls to walk away. More than can be said for the board.

What I meant was the board didn't have the balls to sack John. But I see that wasn't clear.
Whilst we're at it - and I realise 'a' BOD is important - they need replaced by people who have a knowledge of the game. Well-meaning fans with no financial clout and where there is a question mark over their own interests coming before those of the club aren't required any more.

Could clear board out and bring in Grant , all be sorted in no time

He resigned; there is a difference. Both he and Robbie Horn resigned, and weren’t sacked.

All that matters now is how the club react to it and get the correct person in who can make an immediate impact on the pitch and getting us out of the horrible position of bottom of the league.

It does matter, financially at least. As for the rest of your post I agree 100%

We missed out on Ian Murray because Ronnie doesn't have a pair of balls What a ridiculous comment with no truth or foundation in it. Ian Murray was a non starter from the get go. He is now FULL TIME at Airdrie- how are Rovers supposed to compete with that. I heard some comments at half time yesterday about how Board members and their motivation for money. There is NO money in Albion Rovers- so whatever you think of Ronnie or other Board members abilities they are not in it for money.

As I understand it the Commercial lady gets paid commission for sponsorship, advertising etc that she brings in. she is not on the BOD

its not daft the chairman has shown a complete lack of ability to run the club in a time of crisis and should consider his position

ok maybe Murray wouldn't have taken the job and maybe Stevie Aitken wont take it who nows. But we could have been on a new manager already and still been in the cup had we had a chairman who is able to make the hard decisions.
