To change the subject just watched on Diamonds TV our former striker Jaoa Victoria score two superb solo goals - and create another for Airdire yesterday only to watch his sides`kamikazi` defending see them concede 3 goals in the last three minutes of the match to lose 3-4.

Jaoa can be a good player but frustrating. At the tail end of last season he could look the part and do good things but was rarely a game changer.
I dont know much about the lot from up the road but if they are playing well he could fit in well. A good player when things are going well but if its not....
Saying that id gladly have him now!

Agree, he looked very fit and agile...don`t know if he`s starting every game but he looked the part in that ten minute clip

Fit and agile is what we need right now. A player who will take responsibility and take on a player without looking like a steamliner turning in the clyde when taking a defender on. But even with a player like this we need those like him to get in the right positions and unfortunately one good player would be short of the mark as it stands.

He was an enigma. Effectively our 4th choice striker at the start of the season ended up out wide still scoring 10

Short memories: he was slagged off on here every week, even after being man of the match v EK.

He scored to really good goals on Saturday but Airdrie still got beat. Sound familiar??
Too lazy for my liking.

Still head and shoulders above the current crop. Our former players always seem to flourish when they seek pastures new.

After setting the Heather on fire he is now nowhere near the first team.
Sent on loan for the rest of the season to stranraer I dare say to be released at the end of the season if he finds a new club as he still has a year on his contract

Oh please; let's stop this ex-player hero-worship. He was slagged aff on a weekly basis for 'not being good enough' for Rovers. (Even after being man of the match at East Kilbride one day)

Last thing we need is a striker who spends half the time on his backside claiming for fouls. He looked the part but ultimately he could not be counted on , very lazy. Pity though, could have been a player

I always felt he needed 3 touches to bring the ball under control, and for a big guy never won a header. Also seemed a bit timid for my liking.
