As Robert Watt said elsewhere - 4 days to go - still time for our BOD and JB to bring in 3 or 4 SPFL experienced players

As per my previous post - 1 Target man, 1 midfield general and a defender. Potts seems to be getting good reviews so through experience will get better. I agree with Robert, the entire squad isnt lost, 3 experienced players should do it. This will give John Brogan a fighting chance.
Over to the BOD for the necessary action.

I thought the wage budget has been over spent already? And I imagine it's easier said than done getting a experienced player in unless he comes for the money which I hear we don't have.

And I agreed with balancing the books with the understanding Junior players would be signed that can compete at this level. I fear they cannot on their own and the BoD need to take different action to prevent falling out of the league altogether.
This season is going to cost the club either way. Which is the lesser of the two evils?

When you see the East Kilbride squad they are a league team in the waiting - they have players that should be in division 2 at least, but where is the parameters now, as there is so much talent in the lower league that the face of Scottish Football may change dramatically in the next 10 years.

Good to see very detailed interest from completely new guys/girls on this board: are you new to the club or been around a while?

That's not who I mean. If we are getting new people, and they are right behind the club (all of it) then that is obviously good. I just noticed some very new names with lots and lots of interest and plenty of detailed knowledge about the club and board have appeared in the last two weeks. David Higgins

Stewmelrover has a good point about 'new' regular contributors to this forum. It may be due to the large number of personnel changes at the club, players and backroom staff, their family and friends. It could of course be something more sinister. Who knows? As can be seen from my moniker, I have never hidden behind a false identity, always say what I feel, as is the case with others whose identity I know, such as Grant, Chris, Bucky, to name a few. It doesn't always endear us to everybody, I'm sure.
However, there is something that is more worrying at this moment in time, and that is the apparent apathy of many of the 'regulars' who have gone completely silent in recent days/weeks. Is it apathy, or are they frightened that they might offend.
I posted yesterday, giving my worries and my feelings about the current situation, thinking that there might have been a reaction from the BOD (even just a phone call, as they know how to reach me), but none!
A simple post to confirm that the BOD recognise the gravity of the situation, and they are doing everything in their power to resolve this crisis, would go some way to lighten the gloom for the supporters who are clearly worried for the future of the club they love.
The failure to do so is absolutely scandalous. Robert Watt
