The annual quiz nights has been confirmed for Friday 9th November at the Coatbridge Indoor Bowling Club (Coatdyke). Start time to be confirmed but it’s looking likely to be 1930/2000. Further details below. Thanks

Prof was wittering on about winning for the fourth year in a row or some such nonsense when he suddenly said something about team size. But, Prof being Prof, I didn't really listen to what he was saying...who'd've thunk that I'd've actually found the information useful?
Shit happens 😜
Anyhoo, can anyone tell me about acceptable team size?

There’s also a £50 cash prize for the winning team which has kindly been donated by Bill Shields.
Thanks to Bill for the generous donation.

Great night in Coatbridge Bowling Club. The usual challenging questions set by quiz master Pat.
No victory this year however my dad did win a nice bottle of Torres white vino in the raffle 😁😁

Great night out tonight and at least £1000 raised too as Pat announced. A good success

...and the £50 prize so generously donated by Bill was then just as generously donated back by the winning team, none of whom (I believe) is a Rovers supporter. Thanks are due too to the Bowling Club, who were not only hospitable but very helpful when the larger than expected atendance meant we needed more question sheets copied.

A great night indeed. And a well done to Pat for being an excellent quiz master. Now looking forward to hearing the date of the race night fundraiser in early spring.
