We really need to start picking up points from somewhere SOON.
It's always tough against the Fifers however feeling Uber optimistic as usual I'll go for a vital wee 1-0 victory to the MIGHTY 'Vers!!

We are already a certainty to finish bottom so for me the rest of the season is about trying to get some semblance of a team together for the play off.
The teams who were within striking distance a month ago have now left us behind and got some much needed points on the board.
Nothing else but a win will do but I personally can't see it.We don't score goals and we don't keep clean sheets.0-2.

Cowden will have their tales up after a good midweek win over QP who themselves have been on good form. We have a fundamental problem in that we don't score enough goals and leak goals 10 a penny. Would love to be proved wrong. If we get a draw we are doing well , will be the first on here if it's a win.

Think that is just the nature of the prediction thread Bucky. We have won 1 league game yet 90% of fans have predicted us to win each game regardless of who the opponent is !
Pretty sure that come the end of the year reality will have well and truly kicked in.
Without goals though nothing changes.

Thank god for some realism on here. I have to keep checking that we've not actually only lost one game all season as opposed to only winning one ffs.
Cowdenbeath are a team full of hard men and cloggers and we've already shown we can't compete in this league. Two centre halves who like a sliding tackle could be interesting on a wet pitch.
The fundamental problem is that we have a team full of ex-juniors (but probably not 'ex' for long) and Alloa weans who aren't ready. The performance at Berwick was admirable as far as endeavour goes but we never looked like winning it - bar the chance within the first couple of minutes.
If the new manager has worked some miracle in the intervening two weeks then good on him. We'll find out in a couple of hours.

Wahey! A goal in 10th minute, albeit a penalty by Jamie Gallagher! With 66% possesssion so far, we're taking the game to them......so far. Keep it up, ARFC! Just seen we've conceded a penalty.

Jones seems to have been a risk signing which (so far) hasn`t paid off. What about Wharton not been in a line up for weeks?

That should of been a 1-0 win today for the rovers, but that silly pen give away cost us 2 points, but we got the point so lets build on that.

Grant, I spoke to young Wharton at half time. He expects to return to training on Tuesday night and is itching to get back in action.

Played better today with defence looking more organised. Lacking a bit of firepower and with better up front could have got the three points. Also good to see "dugmeat" getting another well deserved man of the match.

Battling display, although not pretty. Lewis McLear was superb. A point, and it's a start at least.
