Wouldn't say we played well however we were more organised which daw us through the game
Robbie Buchanan who was sent off for cowden was heard shouting fenian c**** as he walked down the tunnel
Totally unacceptable
From what i hear cowden BOD are embarrassed by it and are dealing with it internally

The guys have received plenty criticism this season and most of it has been justified.
Have to say though, any Rovers supporter at the game today would have to agree the guys were great today. If we were a bit more clinical up front we could have won the game.
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!

Battling performance. 10/10 for effort from the guys - it has been like that most of the season tbf. Not the most entertaining game I've ever seen. Not quite of the variety that would get football banned but verging on it.
Our penalty I couldn't really see too well but if it was given against us I might have been complaining. Despatched well enough for 1-0. Lead didn't last long though and it was a very stupid, rash tackle that gave away the equaliser. Shame really but it was a stonewaller.
Probably for the first time this season I reckon we were the better (of two admittedly poor) team(s) and if we'd won it would have been a hard fought but deserved 3 points. Cowdenbeath won't be giving a monkey's though - they looked like they settled for a point from the minute they equalised. I doubt we'll reach 15 or 16 points or whatever they're on now so they won't be worried.
Defensively we were ok but weren't really troubled. McLear looked decent and deserved his motm. Crowd was 220 - I mean really? A fair few travelling fans in that figure as well!
Almost shocked to be saying on 1 December that performances like this bode well for the play offs. Having said that I've no idea what the standard is like in the LL and HL. Fortmartine aside obviously!
New manager seems to have tightened the ship a bit based on that performance today. He gets credit for that. The lack of quality is there for all to see unfortunately and I'm sure - like a few realists on here - that the damage has already been done. Thanks for that John.
Pitch looked in decent shape too despite the fears about the weather. And the sending off was for a disgraceful tackle so no complaints.

Lewis Wilson the best player on the park by far and probably the only reason we scored a goal we need the forwards to link up with Gerard when he takes the ball by 2 players and then has no one making a run in behind so he just runs into two 6ft+ centre half that out strength him of the ball.
Paul mgeough was at fault for the penalty with one of about 10 passes that went to the other team and murdoch needed to try a last ditch tackle to save a goal and miss timed it.

Battling display, although not pretty. Lewis McLear was superb. A point, and it's a start at least. [br I meant Lewis Wilson (no.3).

Am I the only one who thought that was two absolutely honking teams fighting out a 1-1 draw . The Cowden penalty was totally avoidable - under zero pressure the big no. 8 MCGoo or whatever his name is loses the ball in the middle of the park that lets the Cowden striker through then Murdoch does a kamikaze tackle when all he had to do was stand up.
Lewis Wilson had a good game , at the risk of getting pelters he is far better going forward than his basic job which is defending.

Am I the only person that finds sectarian abuse unacceptable? Probably practising for the lower leagues or is that being unfair to the lower leagues

I saw the player mouthing off as he headed towards the tunnel but couldn't hear what he said. If he did say those words then he deserves to have his backside booted at the very least. I did see Terry having a go at him verbally once he was in the tunnel which is not like him, so must have been bad.

No it's not acceptable and from any side of the divide and one of the reasons I support the rovers. All that crap is left at our turnstiles and only heard when we play certain teams who sadly attract numpties. Glad to hear he has been charged.

I thought it was an improvement in a short space of time, very difficult job inheriting the current situation and let's see if Kevin can turn things around.
