Meanwhile you seem happy that `Rovers minded` folks take the club into the LL.....and possibly gone forever.

Meanwhile you seem happy that `Rovers minded` folks take the club into the LL.....and possibly gone forever. What makes you think this new ‘consortium’ will save us fromLL. I’m assuming by your robust defence of people’s unknown that you are in the know Grant, so why not tell everyone what you appear to know??

Airdrieonians do not exist; they went bust. The team which squats in that ground is Clydebank. A factual record of 'Airdrie minded' governance of the old Broomfield. Correct 👏👏👏 That point should never be forgotten. Also Peat jumped ship to save his SFA skin. He also behaved disgracefully while at SFA , leasing to Neil Lennon getting charges dropped. And he recently appeared out the woodwork showing his true colours were never the red & white of Airdrie but a splash of blue as well. about his “biggest regret “ Mans a football relic who should be consigned to the past. For all his faults give me RB anyday over this dinosaur

I’ll give you the names of the consortium Blondie. David New Rover Bingo Prorege Or you can call them all Dave for short. Board meetings will be held in a phone box to save the club money. You missed someone out ...... Walter Mitty. Will still all fit into the phonebox.

To Ginty et al.....only the shareholders can elect or remove director(s). Directors can be co-opted on to the BOD by the existing directors (as has happened recently) but these have to be confirmed (or otherwise) at the earliest opportunity ie an AGM by the shareholders. To talk of a `take over` is just wrong. If the shareholders, in their wisdom, wish to take a sanguine attitude towards the current directors, or opt for change by voting directors off/on to the BOD, that is entirely a matter for them. Yes, I am a shareholder, but given my miniscule holding it is neither going to create shivers in the current boardroom, nor have any potential replacements beating a road to my door for my vote. Yes,I am pessimistic for the future of the club and would like to see an AGM held sooner rather than later so that the shareholders can decide the way forward. It is not a perfect system but it is what was put in place when the Club became a limited company in 1919.

Guys, why are talking about Airdrie? Look where they are now in comparison to us? We look likely to be in the LL next season at best. Let's focus on saving ARFC from the oblivion.

Exactly the point I was making earlier. Does anyone seriously think if ARFC drops into the LL the club will recover from that and get back to the SPFL ??

They were formed in 2002 and bought their way into the league by taking over Clydebank relocating them to airdrie and changing the name are you meaning this is what rovers should do to a team I'm confused

Dear old ginty. Must be lonely fishing in the wrong waters. Entertaining though. I enjoy my own company from time to time, something our consortium leader might struggle with due to his plethora of alter egos

I’m sure someone as versed in the nuances of company law in the UK fully understands the term Liquidation and understands what it means in regards to Airdrie.

I think you may be referring to the Tribute Act currently plying their trade in League 1 That may well be the case but the hard facts of the matter are that those from Airdrie have a team to support and if I'm correct their fans stood up for their club when the time came last season. What are we doing during the time that we need to focus on ARFC? Talking about a team that has and have no relevance to our current situation, rather than doing the honourable thing and focusing on our own problems. ARFC is dying before our very eyes yet people still want to talk about Airdrie???
