He's got at least one point spot on. If/when Rovers are relegated they will never return to professional football. That's a 100% guarantee. Agreed. 9.01am on the Monday morning following the inevitable defeat and confirmation of relegation will be the bank wanting its money back. Club no more Not just one bank - RBS....Shawbrook will be wanting that iniquitous loan repaid as well

I hope the current board have the commercial acumen to ensure survival for at least one season to give it a shot to get back up. Strong relationships with the current creditors and a robust business plan should do it.

Club no more In that, or any similar scenario, why wouldn't the board then invite existing shareholders and supporters to put money into the club through new shares to save it from oblivion? If existing shareholders voted down the proposal, they would be be exposed as voting for the death of the club.

Why wouldn't the board present their plan for the next 3-6 years with their vision of where we want to be and then present the investment options, of such there are many, and invite anyone to invest/support the vision. As for the existing shareholders voting down and being exposed as the cause of the death of the club!? Get real. If you currently have shares and wish for a payday sit back and relax. Watch it unfold beneath your very eyes and, this is classic, it wont be your fault you can blame it on the current board full of die hard supporters. Sweet.

How about 'existing shareholders' doing that right now?

If we are at crisis point, why not say who you are, and what your alternative plan is? David Higgins.

So what is your interest in this? David Higgins You can see my interest in this over previous posts. I'll summarise it through a point a Rovers die hard once said to me, less than 2 years ago. " Coatbridge needs a Professional Football Club and people will only realise that once its gone". I bought a season ticket on the back of that amongst other things I have supported this season. I'm reading these events unfolding in front of me as a new Rovers fan, a complete outsider but with the commercial knowledge to know the current direction is oblivion. I have also made this clear in previous posts. My strength is not in football knowledge.

If you wish to know who I am then follow the suggestion I laid out months ago. You can find me easily, as some have done. Probably in doing so you wont know me anyway unless we had some Coatbridge connection through school or work etc. As for alternative plan. I have many ideas but it would take more than me and more than a new board of directors. It would take everyone and the clock is ticking.

All good if David caldwell comes aboard, but is he going to stick around this time, we need all the help we can at this moment in time for the club, so who has deep pockets, maybe someone/ or business person in England or over seas who could come in and save the club.
