My first prediction 0-3 Annan. Transfer window can’t come quick enough, hopefully Kevin has a few aces up his sleeve Can't argue with any of that. Hopefully too Kevin has managed to persuade a few more of our 'stars' to extend their Christmas holidays right through to the end of the season. Freeing up wages has to be the priority over the next few weeks.

Sorry I won't make this game but hope for a win, however unlikely this seems. Lewis McClear scored from a cracking free kick at Annan, so there is potential but they are strong promotion contenders. Hope Kevin can motivate these lads to get something out of the game.

Looks like the Rovers played much better today and got a great point from the game.

A better performance than last week. Still struggling to see where we get goals from as we didn’t create many chances until the last ten minutes of the game. Let’s be clear the standard of footie at this level is crap and there wasn’t much difference between us today. With the promise of some new faces in January it isn’t beyond the realms of possibility that Harper can turn this round given the number of games left

I really hope he does, Sam...will be a legend if he can pull it off - the BOD need to back him in bringing in the some new faces of a better standard than what we have at present

Spot on Sam. Standard is dire but we deserved a point and maybe a wee bit more. Their goal was a cracker too so certainly no disgrace. And Berwick still within reach.
Both trialists did well with the no 2 looking really tidy. Deservedly man of the match along with the keeper maybe who had a few decent saves again to keep us in it. Think Peter said his name was something Henry or Harvey at about the 3rd attempt? No doubt once he sobers up he'll come on here and clarify.
Crowd was very disappointing at 145; it actually looked less to me! Worth noting that if DC had been there the crowd would have swelled to 147, lol! Strange sort of day though - the roads on the way there and back were deserted for a Saturday afternoon.
Quite unbelievably there is still hope that we can catch Berwick. Looking forward to QP at Hampden next week already after that. And performances like the one today give you a bit of hope for the play offs. It would appear there is a Santa after all.

Good point and could have been three. Amazing the influence DC has had even before the second coming!

As you know I don't drink. I just couldn't read my writing and Ronnie was down pitch side with the sponsor. I still don't understand why we don't list names on teamsheets for Trialists. Great gutsy performance against a team who put 4 past Berwick last week. Our Spanish superstar is back early from holiday in Spain to play against QP next week. Well done young man. I'm starting to believe we can do this. Happy New Year to all Rovers fans.

Battling performance: Wharton and no.2 particularly strong. Crowd may have been small, but gave good support throughout.

Yes apologies Peter. Chris or bucky I suspect will know the answer as to why we don't list trialist's names - beyond the fact 'because they are trialists' obviously.
Plenty endeavour from the guys again and if Kevin can ring the changes and bring in some genuine L2 talent (!) then it'll be an interesting second half to the season.
Does anyone know what the current position is with the squad? Bucky (I think) said a week or so ago he thought 4 players had left. Maybe JD - good to have you back - can update us on any goings?

First thing to say is, if you believe a few of the clowns on the Coatbridge Past & Present Facebook page(normally a good read), then we are officially extinct & Cliftonhill is no more!! Rejoined the group and posted on that scandalous thread to put the record straight. No surprise to see some familiar doom merchants on it.

A decent point which could easily have been three. Agree that no.2 was MOTM - showed great tenacity and drive going forward; Wharton and no.9 (without the right kind of service or support) were also decent. Geting off bottom spot wil still be a big ask but we are not dead and buried yet.
