Probably a game written off and at 3-1 could have been worse. At least the new guy scored.

Referee was appalling, even city fans were laughing at some of the decisions they got in first half. They're a big side but the fall over if you look at them but every time they got a foul. It was one of those that they equalised from. Their second was a howler from our keeper although they got a bit lucky with rebound from fluffed clearance going in. If we could have got to half time up, who knows. Not much in second half, we hit bar and should have had a penalty. Newall looks decent, good touch and can hold it up but can't help thinking John Gemmell would have given that defence a torrid time today. We really do lack a physical presence in the box

We are still playing shite, these new players that we just got are not cutting it, still getting beat, at what if it's like this against Berwick in the two games against them, need better players than that, and the board says we're got money for new players, I we're bringing in the duds that's what.

We're you at the game caller? No. I was. Positives. George Newell. Mark Russell. Negatives. Hernandez was posted missing again today.
In general we need the team to believe in themselves. They are a team with potential.
I truly believe we will stay up without a play off.
We had two great chances in 2nd half that should've been scored. Sublime cross in from Mark Russell, brother of Johnnie Russell, and a big Rovers fan too.
Remember we made the Top of the table team look average.
Definitely 3 points next week versus Elgin. You heard it here first. Don't tell the bookies.

I was at the game today and in my honest opinion we got we deserved.False dawn with rovers early goal but we cant defend for toffee. Ref gave us nothing but thats to be expected these days so in no way to blame for the defeat, self inflicted wounds solely to blame.

Not quite right Ed regarding the second goal. It was a sloppy pass back which gave PJ no space to clear the ball, a bit unfortunate but the defender was at fault. All the players aren't cutting it Harris? Nonsense, I think Michael Hardie has been a real find so far, calm with the ball, keeps it simple and has a good range of passing, PJ has been good overall this season, Newell had pass marks for his debut as well as Mark Russell. It was good to see Lewis Wilson back too, a bit rusty today but he has been one of the better players this season.
Credit to the wee guys who had the loudspeaker and drums today they were funny. I do think that a win will give the players confidence and will be a big weight off their backs. When that will be though I can't predict. It was definitely a better performance than last week so that is a start.

Peter you say you believe we will stay up without the need of the play offs. You may well be right. Now assuming Berwick have a nightmare and collect one point, can you tell us all what fixtures we are going to win?

Can’t defend for toffee??
I thought Jason and Sean dealt with the leagues top scorer pretty well, apart from his goal.... that’s why he is the top scorer with more than double his nearest challenger, he got a chance and took it.
We hit the bar in the second half, George flashed a header just wide (I think from the cross the guys are talking about from Mark Russell) then another chance which appeared to come off the defender especially as all the City players congratulated him and should have had a penalty for the foul on Fozzy.
I thought we were really unlucky today against the team sitting top of the league.

Not sure what Rovers team Peter is on about.Perhaps Melchester Rovers.I'm not sure even Prof or Jimbo at their tambourine bashing best would have such a delusional slant on our chances of survival.

Running out of chances and opportunities, it really is as simple as that. Last week was soul destroying, its still no out my system. Nobody was expectimg anything today in fairness. We've now developed a mental fatigue as well that we do not know how to hold a winning position, not that we've been in that position to often, but if we are fortunate enough to be in a winning position in the coming weeks i fear we're a team terrified to lose more than a team likely to go on and convincingly win.

The one that crashed off the cross-bar was a superb shot & their keeper was in great form. ONWARDS & UPWARDS!!!

Jaydee ok maybe a tad harsh with the toffee remark but we give away so many cheap goals, today ok maybe first one guy slipped his marker and its in the net but goal number two.. if theres any doubt put it out, out for a corner if keeper and defender are not sure..third goal the guy skipped past two as if they were not there and buried it. same last week against Stirling some real cheap goals given away. Also how many crosses did we try to put in today that didnt pass the first defender, a lot more than a few. Granted EC are top of the table but if we give goals away so cheaply we will get nowhere.
