The EK manager, Stuart Malcolm , was at yesterday`s match looking at likely opposition if Kilby get to the play off final.

I honestly think there’s something amiss with so many on this message board. Positivity is a great thing, but realism is much, much more important.
There must be some very sore hands this morning - the level of happy-clapping after yet another defeat is astonishing.

I agree. I cannot see any positives from the current position. As a previous poster has said, Berwick games aside, where are the wins/points coming from? I really hope KH turns this around but at the moment it's only hope.

One more win for Berwick will make them unreachable for Rovers. Personally I think they are already.
The prediction thread is bizarre. If you didn't know the score and read the comments you could be forgiven for thinking Rovers had won yesterday !
Lack of a win will be eating away at KH. Seems the bounce factor from those early games he was in charge of is starting to dwindle a bit.
We seem as far away from a win as ever.Performances have improved but then they couldn't have been any worse could they ?

Got that right Tommy, if Berwick win one more game it's going to be hard for Rovers to do anything, also when KH took over he steady the ship, but now with all the changes in players ins and outs, it's still the same, no wins just two Draws, that's still not good enough, now Kevin must get these players ready for the Elgin game it's a must win game, we need a better defense and midfield, and for some reason out goal keeper is not at his best, he's letting far to many goal in, but that's because of the back 4, need wins fast, and if you go onto YouTube and see kelty heart and East Kilbride play there games, the way we're playing the now Rovers will have no change, and it's the lowland league for us.

Anyone seen Grant or Bingo yet? Yep. I spotted them on a lifeboat as the titanic sank. Great to know you were on the deck in the final moments still playing the violin. Haunting music as you entered the water. 😁😁😁😁

Appreciate all are concerned but think of it this way. If the players and manager had the same attitude as the supposedly realistic doom and gloom merchants we would be completely screwed. Fortunately I would imagine they haven't gave up and neither should we. Not over til the fat lady sings and all that.

Nobody is saying the board are brilliant but they’re there and are at least letting people know what they’re doing. You were supporting a coup from people who weren’t willing to tell anyone who was all involved (worse they denied GP was involved) , what their plan was & weren’t investing any money in. Is it any wonder they failed with a plan like that. Who was the mystery man? Baldrick from Blackadder?

With the advantage of having actually been to the game, here are my comments.
Think we should remember it was Top v Bottom. Thought Rovers played OK, Edin City were better than us but not so much better. Given that this is now KH's team, transfer deadline by with, let us give him a break. A lot of new players trying to tie in with the rest who have been having a real hard season and just need a rub of the green. The right back is a find, think the left back has a chance, Wharton in the defensive midfield position looks comfortable, big forward could do with a few fish suppers but might make a difference. Is it my imagination, does nearly every bounce of the ball go for the opposition? When we went 1 up, we needed to hold on but lost goals too quickly, 2-1 down by half time, 3-1 shortly after but kept at it but just could not produce any decent chances, although hit bar. So, think team getting more competitive, just need a rub of the green. And Fisher back would help.
Might yet finish in 10th, might start picking up points, might not play in play offs. There is no cheer in the overall position, but I think that there is cheer from changes in the squad, and a change in approach in the management and slight improvemnets in team performances, not counting Stirling Albion, playing with 10 men for 70 minutes is too much.
I just don't think we are dun yet, 15 games to go, 15 cup finals to go!
Not sure if that makes me happy clappy, but I am sure someone will let me know.

Would agree if Berwick get a win before we do then that's it but until that happens I still think we have half a chance as I think we might be better than them, that said both of us are so shot of belief maybe neither of us will get another win. It almost looked like we panicked on Saturday after scoring first against the league leaders. Everyone kept saying Brechin would eventually get a win last season but it never happened.

Where does this confidence in our survival come from, folks? I genuinely think we are taking our place in the SPFL for granted & we do so at our peril. Whilst I accept there have been some minor (barely noticeable) improvements to our squad, I can’t fathom why so many think it will be enough to save us. Being positive for the sake of it is tedious and fanciful.

When there are 15 games left there is room for hope.
What is the alternative, Jordie?
