Agree with Stephen. Can't even raise some vitriol in my post. We're better but we're still cr@p. Started well enough, forcing the keeper into a save which he pushed onto the post. Elgin never looked in any danger whatsoever though.
Lost a soft first goal as Bucky says and after that it was game over. PJ had a couple of good saves and Mikey at RB looks good. As for the rest......... they're just not good enough.
Elgin second was a cracker of a free kick and yet again we give away a soft but certain penalty for no reason other than we're mince for number 3. Elgin hardly got out of third gear and were well worth their win. All the posts above about this being the sort of game we should win etc etc are f*ckin laughable.
Wharton was kinda lucky not to give away a penalty before their third. And at 1-0 PJ made a good save where the ball may have been over the line - only he will know for sure. It mattered not in the end.
We're okay-ish (but nowhere near good enough) at the back. Midfield and up front well I might as well be playing. We offer hee haw.
That's about it. Thought the ref was fairly decent for a change. Crowd looked slightly more than 183, maybe about 184 but apathy has well and truly set in. At least Peter's jokes keep us all entertained.
Unbelievably Berwick are still catchable although tbf I think they are just taking the p1ss with their 7 point lead and giving us all a bit of hope. Ultimately it's the hope that kills you.

Garbage from start to finish (once I arrived). And can we please stop waisting money on champagne for man of the match. Embarrassing to watch, embarrassing for the player accepting it.

Calm down everybody. We'll win 2-0 next week. But if we don't we'll win 2-0 the following week and if we don't win that one we'll win the next one 2-0. And if we don't win that one ..........

WTF Mr. Happy Clapper - what's that all about!!!! Seriously - agree, it was another very disappointing performance today. It was a cracking shot from their man from the free kick & a stone-wall penalty though. ONWARDS WE GO

Okay I give up, that's me. Had been hanging on to gap between Berwick not growing but that's me. It ain't happening, it just ain't, if it was it would have started by now. We've got a wee bit better but Brogan left us so far off the pace it needed something much more dramatic. How do you take what's been, relatively speaking, one of the most successful periods of our recent history and turn it into us staring over the abyss. Don't answer, we've been over it a million times. And yes, I'll be at fn Broadwood next week.

Firstly the positives. Gavin's young neice started a new trend with Red and Yellow nail varnish. Now the negatives. The game was on. We weren't playing in red as Forbes and to be honest I thought the same from a distance.
Even my eternal optimism is being stretched to the limit.
No. 9 wasn't at the races. Gary Phillips had a few great passes but fizzled out.
Thank goodness PJ was on form.
Trialist Ryan Tierney from Accies looked decent.
And why didn't Kevin play Mark Russell after his great form last week in Pilton?
Come on Kevin we need wins and we need them soon.
Still think we will hammer a team soon.

Agree re Tierney. He looked nervous and off the pace. A few early clumsy touches didn't help. Nor did the lack of quality around him.
Ed is spot on as well - this really still is Brogan's legacy. Kevin has the Herculean task of assembling what remains into a force for the play offs. There are flashes that we could make a game of that - the opening 15 minutes yesterday when we put Elgin under a bit of pressure, albeit they coped comfortably with that. Be interesting to see what happened if Lewis's shot had gone in.
Ultimately if you are EK or anyone else looking at that yesterday are you gonna be worried? Nope, you're not.

Brogan isn’t to blame for this IMO. The only person that should be blamed is the chairman at the time who appointed him and allowed him to go on the idea that all these amateur level players were the way forward (let’s face it brogan only went on what he knew) and then allowed him to go on for SO LONG when it was clear after the first few games this was a horror story. He was part of the board at the time who took out the silly loan (everyone is quick to attack the previous board which included him), yet, he done f*ck all about it or spoke out about it. Now, he is the person who has potentially put the final nail in the coffin for our club with his piss poor decision making, yet it’s very clear he is getting a free ride in all of this and for what reason?? 1. He’s a likeable person? 2. He had rovers best intentions at heart and is rovers through and through?
I have no doubt this will be an unpopular post due to so many people’s allegiances to that chairman but if we are all being honest it’s time he put his neck out and answered the questions on his decision making at the club which have put us in this state and cut this crap of being rovers saviour as nobody else would have taken the job blah blah.... over to you ex Chairman...

Don't think brogan can be blamed anymore. The number of personal changes make this Harper's team now and it is his responsibility. Also can we send the number nine back to Motherwell. A week and useless lightweight.

A week and useless lightweight. It isn’t Harper’s fault either, he didn’t stand a chance if we are all honest. It all comes down to the piss poor decision making of that ex chairman of ours. Brogan was his and only his decision nobody elses. The quicker people wake up to what He has done to the club the better. He might be a nice man but a chairman and leader, he ain’t. Let it be known, he has potentially put the final nail in the coffin for this club and is to blame IF we disappear.

I dare say the role of the chairman’s decision making will be a bigger decision come the end of season when we most probably head for the lowland league. The team at the moment is Harpers. No one elses. Brogans team were rank. This team under Harper are still brutal and a million miles away from the type of run required to keep us up!!
