So the season is now officially over and the play offs beckon. Is anyone going to take some sort of responsibility and do the honorable task of falling on one's sword?
Or is Gollum going to continue to try and hold onto the Ring despite the obvious weakness and the folly of the effort.
It's now over ladies and gents.
For the sake of the club and 100 years of history....
1. Sack KH or support the clearly inexperienced manager with an experienced "DoF" 2. Pick up the phone and ask for help. No shame but as the point above it's for the sake of the club.
If you cant do both at least pick one for not only do the play offs beckon we are going to the lowland league and no amount of anniversary bottled beer is going to assist us in surviving the Lower League never mind getting back up in one season.
Truly reach out now before it's too late.

So ProRege I agree with loads of what you say on here. And I'm not a happy clapper by any stretch of the imagination because the Board or one of them or whoever amongst the custodians of this club/management appointment panel etc has royally f*cked things up this year.
But just to point out that responsibility and communication works both ways. If you have a master plan to provide help then pick up the phone and make contact, don't wait for it to come to you.
I'm not trawling through all the back history on here to find out that you've done that before and been knocked back, because I'm sure you have. But follow your own advice in your last sentence and "reach out; again if necessary. If that falls on deaf ears then come back and let us all know as that puts a different spin on things. But to have a credible 'plan' and not do anything with it because someone didn't phone you lacks responsibility on your part too.

Think ProRege has articulated what should be done...
1. Sack KH or support the clearly inexperienced manager with an experienced "DoF" 2. Pick up the phone and ask for help. No shame but as the point above it's for the sake of the club.
I didn`t get the impression he was suggesting they phone him...rather some experienced football people....by his own admission (on another thread) he has no more `football experience` than any of us posting on here.

Agree with what ProRege says but for me it's too late now.If it was done about January time there would have been something left to salvage.
Now we are just picking over the bones of what was once ARFC. The play off will see us arrive at the final destination for this sorry mess. The Lowland League.

If you take time to look at the names of our potential opponents and consider recently there has been wins against Motherwell, draws at Ibrox and full house games against Celtic as well as mid table finishes in L1. The drop and decision making needed to enable such a drop is staggering.
Zero interest in freezing my nuts off watching the lowland league

As Grant has stated I havent the footballing knowledge to get the team into a winning position for the games that are left. TBH I havent even if we had the full season!!
Clearly the board and KH had been banking on 3pts yesterday to reduce the heat and raise hope, despite what everyone has been watching all season. Yesterday was KHs Formatine moment and he has failed. My concern is that the stewards of the club will now bank, fingers crossed, rain dance on the play offs in the hope that prevents the drop. Definition of insanity.
Im yet again making a public plea for the club to do something different and reach out before its really too late. I also want the club to help KH as it could be ruining a potentially good manager due to this particular job wasnt the best fit for him.
And yes D7 people have offered to help the club during this season only to be told their help isnt required.

Responsibilty lies fairly abd squarely on the Board and in particular the person who appointed John Brogan. The lack of leadership has hurt us really badly.
You can say what you want about auld Tam Fagan but even he would not have embarked on this monumental self inflicted wound . As things stand the club are finished.

And yes D7 people have offered to help the club during this season only to be told their help isnt required. Back in September I posted that `Open Letter to the BOD` on that very subject. Response.......zilch!
I concluded that letter by saying........."I trust the Chairman and Directors will give consideration to the above and see the suggestions as a means of bringing together Directors, Shareholders and other potential stakeholders. United we may yet come through this time of trial and see the club vibrant and stronger, divided , well frankly that does not bear thinking about."
