Yip your correct Brian, 9 games to go where it looks like, assuming Berwick fail to pick up any points, that we need to win 3 of those cup finals. I honestly think it’s to much for them but I suppose if I thought impossible things never happened I wouldn’t buy a lottery ticket every now and then. I’ve mentioned before that we need to get at least some momentum, even if it’s only a little, for going into the play off games. I have seen lots of posts about how good East Kilbride and Cove are and yes they are top of their respective leagues at the moment but i have no idea what the standard the rest of the teams in those leagues are like, apart from Fort William who would struggle to beat my amateur team. So it might be the case that maybe these 2 teams aren’t as classy as their position implies. I might be wrong, wouldn’t be the first time.
So all I’m looking for between now and the end of the league season is for them to go out fighting in every game, at this stage of the season can’t really ask for anything less.
Maybe they’ll surprise us all, maybe I’ll be a millionaire by then 🙏

I'll bet they are better than Formatine 😉 We're a completely different team to the one that lost the cup tie so I don't think its really possible to compare. Are we good enough to beat the Pyramid PO winners? Think we need a few more additions to be sure about that - but the 2 boys who played on Saturday are a good start.

We might be a completely different team but we are getting exactly the same results.
I remember when the pyramid system was being introduced a few of the Highland League Chairmen said they would not want to be part of the SFL due to travel involved, loss of local derbies ETC.
I know I'm clutching at straws here but do we know how keen Cove and Brora are on joining the 2nd Division ?
I presume EK have no such qualms ?
I'm not sure who else KH is going to find as this stage of the season who can improve what we have. He may have to work with what he's got which is admittedly not a lot.
To me it seems like there a quiet air of acceptance and resignation settling over Cliftonhill and I cannot comprehend why we have accepted this so meekly but there it is.
We know where we are finishing and know what lies ahead.
Going to take a miracle now.

Trouble is, Shakey, I think we may be up to our limit regarding loan players...quite why we took on that kid from Dundee United, I don`t knoww

If our u19’s/reserve teams are doing so good then why would we be signing other teams u19’s players? Surely the natural progression would be to take the players from our set up?

Watched 2nd leg of Cowdenbeath v Cove last year. Cove were definately trying to win, they were robbed by the way.
Brora went into one play off against Montrose not really caring if they won and duly lost, apparently, change of heart but think that they are too far behind Cove now.
EK look keen to get up.
Anyway today is a 6 point Saturday, so by end of Season play offs will no longer an issue.
