If...and it`s still a big `IF`.......we get out of this by virtue of the `gift` of three points...the Clyde guy who cocked up should be given the Freedom of the Borough.......

Amazing. PJ won us the match today with an outstanding save in the last couple mins.
We had 7 points up until last week we have now 7 in the last week
Last away win was 10/3/18 1 day off a full calendar year

Saw that date, Chris
This quote just now from the Stirling manager Kevin Rutkiewicz: “Credit to Albion Rovers - they were the better team and deserved to win. They looked hungrier than we did and there was a lack of desire from us. We certainly had chances but we were second best by quite a distance.”

Kevin Harper spoke to the media after today's game: “I think we were the better team over the 90 minutes. It’s been a difficult week but you saw the togetherness of the team and I think the big man was looking down on us today with that save at the end.”

Before we get too carried away. Berwick are still 2 points clear and have a game in hand in Tuesday night against Queens Park. My fear is as Tommy Sermanni alluded to last week is that Berwick could still take points from teams as the season has ended and players have downed tools.

If Berwick can do that with teams downing tools then so too can we. I'd back our boys to pick up more points in the run in than Berwick do. R.e PJ’s save, Dukesy defo had a ‘hand’ in that... excuse the pun. ❤️

6 points in one day - we have achieved something unique in football no doubt. If we carry forward the spirit/endeavour and workmanship in the remaining games who knows. If we are still within touching distance of Berwick come 27 April then that day could become even more fameous than the one in 1967 ! ( youngsters can check with elders for that significant date ) The squad were great today and the support magnificant. In such a sad week for the club the lads responded well and the big man would have been proud of that.

I told you so. I told you so x100.
We can do it. Great result today. I almost had a bet on the Rovers.
So happy for Kevin, Eddie Haggerty and the much maligned Board.
This is our Christmas Day.
Let's make sure we don't suffer a hangover next week and onwards.
No Old Firm win. No Airdrie Win. No Berwick win. But The Rovers did win.
Happy Christmas😁😁

It's going to be a good saturday night for once, that being said we shouldn't cover up what has been a shambles of a season and we need to win next week against a bang average Cowdenbeath team.

I don’t think anyone is trying to cover up how disappointing/awful this season has been.
But what matters is that we have a great chance now of finishing ninth, and that is what we need to focus on.

Well done to all the Rovers players who applauded us at the end of the game, it was a nice touch. I'm proud to be stood corrected when I predicted last week that Rovers would not win another game in this league. It sure was heart attack material waiting for the ref to blow the whistle. A very good day for the Rovers all round, it makes a nice and pleasant change.

WELL, WELL, WELL - where do you start when attempting to sum up today in the incredibly unpredictable world that is Albion Rovers & Sottish League 2!!!!
We began the day by learning that we'd gained a very unexpected but incredibly important 3 points.
And then the guys produce a superb performance. We scored early and successfully defended our slender lead for almost the entire 90 minutes.
What an INCREDIBLE save from Peter at the death - how important might that be.
A, R, ARF, ARFC OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
