Great piece of reading Tommy, and thanks for sharing. I remember that season very well.

Thought it was a wee tad patronising...

I think there will be similar articles about us as we head towards the end of the season...

I think there will be similar articles about us as we head towards the end of the season... I actually disagree. In fact I believe Mr Cameron has probably been sitting on this since October and was hoping to be the one to write the clubs ‘obituary’. He’s now rushed it out at the first sign of a bit of positivity because there is a very real and very good chance that in a few weeks it would be a completely irrelevant piece... if that makes me happy clappy then so be it

I think as we get to the last few weeks of the season ourselves, Berwick and probably both of us will be the subject of similar articles.
I don't have a problem with it. He seems to have a soft spot for Rovers and at times like this we need all the positivity we can get.
Our league position will not change drastically over the next few weeks. We will still be either bottom or 9th.Let's hope it's the latter.

If the rovers had a quid for everyone who had a soft spot for them we'd probably be minted! 🙄

Thought it was a wee tad patronising... Yeh, me to Grant, also when did we always like to be called ‘Albion’, if he was around the club so often he surely must have known it’s the ‘Rovers’

Thought it was a wee tad patronising... It was patronising as f*ck. Complete and utter lazy journalism and what passes for 'copy' as opposed to "cope" in Scotland these days. One of the reasons the print editions of papers is on a slippery slope. The Herald used to be a paper worth reading. I'm embarrassed for it now.
