Massive result given what happened in Stirling to Berwick- this should roll over into Tuesday when the lads should be bristling with confidence - that's 2 clean sheets in a row, we could not have forecast that the last time we faced Elgin. I have a feeling that the Berwick fixture on 27 April will be the game of the season in Division 2 - big away support should add to the atmosphere and lets keep the momentum going until and after then !
Full time 2-0!! Looks like we took our foot off the gas for most of the second half, must have been a bit nail biting but we kept our lead and as Berwick lost 0-1 to a penalty by Stirling, will be a happy journey home for our team and faithful supporters.
One of the best days out ever with Albion Rovers. Beautiful weather, great drive up and down and a result I've been saying for ages we were due. Smart was unbelievable - he just needs to keep it consistent. And he almost scored two great goals with one offside slightly and the other hit the post. The whole team face everything with Morrison saving a couple of crackers that normally would've gone in against us. Keep this up and we will end up mid table😁
Can’t disagree with previous posts. We were up for it from the 1st minute. The forwards took advantage of sloppy Elgin defending and we looked dangerous every time we went forward. The defence held their nerve again, especially when we were getting pegged back for large periods of the second half. PJ also made a couple of good saves when it mattered. 10/10 for all today.
