[7br] Absoloutley no doubt rovers have been fortunate here with that award of 3 points. Could even be a decision that proves to save our very existence. But Berwick, whilst they may feel a boot to the proverbials, should be mindful we've also been heavily penalised in the past for this. If they shoe was on the other foot here do you think they'd be releasing this statement??? Stinks of sour grapes. Only thing worse than the rovers this year has been berwick rangers. They should look at a few truths closer to home rather than hopping into the clyde road show. Get this reverberated round the dressing room. Extra motivation, not that it should be needed. Put this to bed lads. Get something this weekend then turn them over on their own patch a week on saturday. Never mind the wee statements here and there.......talking done on the pitch.

Agree with all that has gone before - Clyde may channel their pent up frustrations on their next opponents - Oh its Berwick how ironic ! We can do our talking on the pitch and focus on Edinburgh and strive for 3 vital points that may prove so crucial at this stage.

I think that's a fair comment from Berwick. I am personally glad that we don't have to replay Clyde or lose the 3 points. As Jimbo said if Clyde had won this appeal they would have announced it much earlier, so they get no sympathy from me at all and have even let their fans down by announcing it so late yesterday, just plain arrogant.

I think it’s quite poor that Berwick made such a statement and think that keeping a dignified silence such as Rovers have done would have been appropriate.

Both statements are poor and absolutely no need for any comment by Berwick. What are the club thinking about.
I note Clyde failed to mention Celtic vs FC Sion where the both ties were awarded 3-0 to Celtic following an unregistered player. Sion took this to court, the CAS, and lost both the case and appeal.
UEFA dont mess about and neither should the SPFL.
I hope no "favours" are done this weekend.

I can’t see it ProRege, Clyde will believe that Peterhead are feeling the nerves, and will be looking at possibly closing the gap further on them. A North East derby game is by no means a given, despite Elgin’s recent run of results and I wouldn’t be surprised if Clyde go on to win the league anyway.

Clyde are going for the title so would be stupid to do Berwick favours and costing themselves the chance of the title. Neither Clyde or Berwick have any dignity. When we were put out the cup for an unregistered player we took it on the chin. Nae wingin, nae greetin! Just accept the rules and took our punishment.

Yep. Both correct. Looked at the league position and Clyde will be looking for the 3 points. Back to us again.
