Can echo all of this - get most of this squad signed up by end of May and then it will just be the gaps that Kevin can see to strengthen - we need to avoid last years scenario this summer !

Hit the ground running against QP at Hampden in early January - scored a good goal that day too. The strikers catch the eye but Gregor has grafted from start to finish. Superb piece of business to get him at Cliftonhill. Hope he's still there next season.

I would like to think the first move we make is keeping Kevin as manager for next season This 100%. No idea why but I reckon Kevin will depart for a better offer. He's more than proved himself capable albeit in less than a full season. People have short memories though and you're only ever as good as your last few months in football. Given how many applications Kevin had to make before getting a manager's job he ain't gonna hang around if someone else comes calling. Be an interesting few months anyway.

Would like to think he will at least give us another season. Rovers BOD took a chance on him...a chance which paid off...when so many were calling for the appointment of an `experienced` manager. Of course the BOD have to offer Kevin and his team acceptable personal terms - and a budget from which he thinks he can put together a competitive squad. No more dithering, failing to inform players whether they were going to be offered new contracts etc , we simply cannot have a repeat of last year.

Knew him well when he was a kid at Camelon and he was brilliant even then. Delighted when he came in, he also knew Bryan from QP which helped, but the gaffer’s recruitment has been top notch. 👍🏼👏🏼

Kevin has done a great job but personally I don't think he is ready to manage at a higher level.
He still has a lot to prove. A full season at Rovers and a chance to add to his recruitment over the summer will be good for both him and Rovers.

Given how many applications Kevin had to make before getting a manager's job he ain't gonna hang around if someone else comes calling. Be an interesting few months anyway. Assuming that his contract is up to his liking I don't see why he would want to move, as you state above he applied for lots of jobs and didn't get one so why would he want to go through all that again. If it was me I'd like to see how well I could do with a full season in front of me, can I turn it round and actually challenge at the other end of the table. Can't see any other club swooping in and taking him away unless they are dangling lots of cash, which is a rare thing in lower league Scottish football these days. What I would like to see is coming out the summer holidays with a full squad signed up, to many times we've been weeks away from the start of the season and we only have 4 players on the books, that's not very professional at all

I think I just found us a new signing on the school run this morning.
Morgaro Gomis ex Cowdenbeath, Dundee Utd (3 times) Hearts, Birmingham etc.
Just been released by Dundee Utd.33 years of age. Just wants to stay in Scotland.
Don't think he would have excessive wage demands and if he does then wealthier fans like Bucky and Tee could make a contribution towards it.

I may be wrong. hopefully Colin will be busy again soon, actually he deserves a massive pat on the back - cant be many clubs in senior football who signed so many players in one season. Literally non stop from June until Jan ! 44 players I think I read somewhere - thats probably not adding in all the reserve players and loan deal paper work. tee
