He's making the right noises and sounds like he wants to stay. Need to find that money tree. Or is he being clever and working his ticket?

Dont think he's working his ticket. Probably if he is supported he will stay. If given a challenging budget he may look elsewhere. Agree with another poster, Tommy?, he should stay for 1 more season. It's too soon to move on

Interesting dynamic now. Kevin has a bit of power at his elbow and looking to increase his budget and who could blame him. Whether he'll get it or not is another thing.
The Board to a certain extent a bit more empowered. Although they can hardly take much credit after playing Russian roulette with the club's SPFL status. They got away with it and they know it.
After the promised Board room coup came to nothing at the AGM Caldwell promised he would revisit this in the summer I assume through an EGM. Only problem is he has egg on his face by branding both the Board and Kevin as utter failures only a few months ago. I'm sure he'll get over it he has more neck than a giraffe.

I don`t think Kevin could go through another campaign like the one just ended. I doubt he will make unreasonable demands upon the BOD but they in turn need to take stock of the mistakes of year ago - not just the appointment of JB - and give him the tools to build upon what he (and Joe) have achieved, particularly these last two months. I remember not long after Kevin was appointed Chairman Eddie Haggerty said he was so impressed by how Kevin was approaching the job, he would love to give him long contract, well, now you have your chance.
