The draw for the regionalised group stage of the BetFred League Cup Draw was made moments ago and Rovers have been drawn against:
St. Mirren Dunfermline Edinburgh City East Kilbride
Games will be played between 13th and 28th July and fixtures including venues will be announced in 1-2 weeks once they're decided in conjunction with BT Sport.

No doubt Rovers would prefer St Mirren and Dunfermline at home to maximize income. Rovers haven't yet played at St. Mirrens stadium which is currently called The Simple Digital Arena.

Of St. Mirren and Dunfermline, we will play one of them at home, and the other away

EK will most likely have the free week on matchday 5, as the lowland league generally starts on the last week in July St Mirren will be at home to Dunfermline, that’s a certainty. I would personally prefer St Mirren away, Dunfermline home, EK home and Edinburgh away

That's because we were drawn in a different slot in the group

Hopefully a Sat home game against either the buddies or the pars. Either one should bring a decent crowd.

Is a tough draw - but with the present team we should be able to give anyone a good game. I think we should at least get a goal this season and potential big crowds with either Dunfermline/St Mirren visiting

Would prefer St Mirren and East Kilbride away, Dunfermline and Edinburgh at home, unsure if the fixtures really do stick to a pattern, but we'll wait and see.
