After 18 years of unbroken sponsorship of the club’s shirts Reigart have decided to end this deal. Albion Rovers FC would like to thank the company for their excellent and longstanding support of the club and wish them all the best for the future. We are delighted Reigart’s sponsorship of the stadium naming rights will continue for a further 2 seasons. Reigart wish the club every success in the future and confirm their ongoing association with the continuation of the stadium naming rights for the next 2 seasons.
The board of directors will now immediately begin the search for a new sponsor for our team shirts for next season. We believe this represents a great commercial opportunity for a business to associate with an ambitious and well established Scottish League 2 club.
Contact the club if you or you know any companies that would be interested.

Yes - very disappointing news however glad they're continuing their stadium sponsorship.
Big thanks to a Coatbridge company for backing us for so many years.

No matter what spin you put on it this is a big blow to the club......but, as in so much in life, nothing lasts forever, they`ve been great sponsors over the years. I hope this wont have too big an impact on budgets going forward.

Definitely end of an era and the Reilly family deserve nothing but praise for not just the financial support but their personal support for the club - both of which they will continue to do. We owe them big time.

Apart from Stena sponsoring Stranraer it’s the longest running sponsorship of a teams jersey in Scotland. Sorry to hear they’re going but can’t complain after so long.

The Reilly family and in particular Tom have been magnificent supporters of the Club and it's a very sad day that they have withdrawn from the shirt sponsorship deal. It makes me wonder if someting has happened between the Club and the family to warrant this as I'm more than certain that this withdrawal will not be for financial reasons as Reigart are one of the most solid Companies in this area. I'm sure the truth will out eventually but in the meantime they are big shoes to fill and we can only hope the Club can attract a Company with equivalent financial clout and not give the shirt sponsorship away for buttons

I know most fans will be presuming something had happened between Reigart and the current Board. I don't have inside information but would have assumed something wasn't right if Reigart had pulled the plug full stop- they still sponsor the club for naming of the stadium. I would agree with the Laird this is a test of the current board who have been accussed of lacking business credentials. The Reilly family have been superb supporters of the club not just financially but morally too. They continued their support when "business men" Andrew Dick and Davie Wright were in charge and hadn't published Annual accounts for 6 years on the trott.
We will see what transpires and see if the current Board rise to the occassion. Anyone can get a better deal than the world reknown "business man" whi negociated a shirt sponsorship deal withCash for Kids . How many times did we wear that strip? Nada, zilch. Zero!!

Like the laird and Bucky, I am a bit sad that the connection with the Reilly family is a bit diminished. They are still stadium sponsors. Won't pretend that I knew Pat Reilly well but I thought he was a great guy, and 100% committed to Rovers.
Regards shirts sponsorship, after nagging my nephew for his business lifetime he was in competition for sponsoring the shirts, but was outbid by A N Other, my nephew is sponsoring the training kit. No doubt when the kit has been mocked up then there will be pictures and announcements.
Well done the BOD.

Never ceases to amaze may that everything is the boards fault but they never get any credit where its due. Has anyone considered that the sponsorship may just have came to a natural end.

Dont think any of the above posts blame the board jimbo. I agree with you and several other posters. They have backed the Rovers for a long time and now is the time to move on for whatever reason(s) they have chosen. Still got the stadium rights and no doubts we'll see their name at The game of 2 halves in Summerlee.
Just an opportunity for someone else to back the MIGHTY Vers. And if Brian has the inside line then an announcement soon.

Welcome to K & T Plant, I note Terry Gillooly is quoted as being involved with the firm who it seems may be related to keen Rovers fan of the same name.
Well done Rovers getting a replacement sponsor in a timely manner and to Terry.

Well done to the club for securing this quickly. Nothing lasts forever. Hope it proves lucrative for all concerned. Nice to see the club are not dragging heels on several fronts so far. Very welcoming.

Absolutely superb news. Well done to all involved for agreeing a new shirt deal so quickly. And from a diehard 'Vers fan's firm too. Enjoy all your Hospitality days next Season Terry 😁😁😁
