Development Meeting – Shape the future of Albion Rovers. Chairman Eddie Hagerty has called on supporters to involve themselves in building the future of our club.
The Albion Rovers Development Meeting will take place on Thursday, 1 August at 7.30pm at the stadium.
This event will be open to supporters trust members and directors.
Seems a good idea in principle......but why not open to all ? Does this mean that shareholders, season ticket holders, sponsors, indeed regular fans that follow the team home and away and who are not Trust members are excluded ? Not everyone wants to be a Trust member, but I am sure everyone who is a supporter and contributes in some way, be it paying at the gate, buying 50/50 tickets, contribute to the Squad Fund, club merchandise etc would like to be able to have a say in the future of the club. I ask this question as a shareholder AND Trust member. Come on, don`t waste a good idea - no exclusions.

100% agree Grant. Why restrict it. If it were me I would letter each business who sponsors the Club by way of board advertising or other sponsorship and invite them along. Who knows they might increase their sponsorship when they see what the Club is trying to achieve.

Spoke to a Club official at today's match and was advised that it was the way the Chairman worded the post and as Chris says it is open to all. Also advised that all sponsors have been lettered as well.
Thank goodness someone at the Club knows what they are doing. If the Chairman can't get a simple post worded correctly then something is far wrong which does not inspire confidence.

Hi
The development meeting will take place tomorrow night in the Gordon Dishington Lounge. It's a 7 for 7.30 start and ALL are welcome, not just trust members and directors.
A warm welcome is extended to anyone who would wish to join us.

I know it’s been a while since some of the comments have been made about Eddie Haggerty on this thread but they are absolutely out of order. To mock someone on the grounds of their profession really is something.
