It’s a big thanks to The Lovely Gordon Lind as he was described in a Herald article a few years ago. His effort and energy puts some of us quite significantly younger folk to shame.

Gordon is a very pleasant chap who puts heart and soul in the best interests of Albion Rovers at all times. Best wishes and thanks.

All the best to Gordon. Another stalwart who gave everything to the club. Enjoy the return to the terraces.

As to replacements, we now have three vacancies on the BOD - our Articles of Association says the BOD may have up to nine members - we currently have six. I would like to think that instead of the `normal` Director recruitment route from the Trust, the club would look to the business community for their experience - business people who already support the club through sponsorship etc.

What a great man Gordon was, he will be greatly missed at the club. Gordon spent a lot of his time at the club doing jobs that would have cost the club money, I know that on match days Gordon was at the club from 11am to 18:30pm not many people would do this. Gordon will be hard to replace, I hope he enjoys his free time & hope he can get along to some games in the future.

Gordon is a great man/Rovers supporter, brigbboy74 watch your verb tenses.
Always laugh when I remember the the newspaper comment about Gordon, thought it was the Record, 'the lovely Gordon Lind'.

Great and deserved comments about Gordon briggboy but as Nanook said Gordon has stepped down from the board but will still continue to assist the club in a number of ways. Like a number of other volunteers, he has and does make a significant contribution to the Rovers. Ronnie
