3 red cards in this game, at least rovers got the 3 points, thought rovers would of added to the goals with Stirling down to 9 men.

Only two red cards. Sean Fagan appears not to have been sent off. Football app says he was but this was later corrected. 3 vital points. Phew! First time I remember nicholl doing anything for us. Cheers for that. 👍

Only thing you can take from that game was the 3 points. Terrible performance.

The Stirling manager was also sent off. Fagan red card was for a second yellow.
Defensively we are terrible. I always thought Wharton was a good big player when he was with QP, but, he’s a bomb-scare with us. The Left back just punts the ball away without looking. Pass marks for me go to Will Graham and Euan East.
We played poor but still got the 3 points, happy days.... 🤪

Have to agree with previous comments by paulrovers-we are defensively naive and look vulnerable to any attacks from any opposition teams. We need a strong, imposing centre half who will go in where it hurts and marshal the defence and team in general. We overplayed in second half, when game could have been killed off and made rest of the game a formality.Goalkeeper also frightens me every week with his slow reactions and general lack of positioning. Other than that.......

We were extremely lucky today. If it had been 10 v 9 for a little longer then we'd have lost our lead. Come on lads you really do need to up your game next week v a much improved Queens Park. And, what's happened to Gary Philips?

My score prediction was 100% accurate !! Got a life line with the sending offs which turned the game firmly in our favour , but still hanging on at the end - should have went for the jugular. Unlucky not to add to our 2 but have to admit that Stirling were still gutsy when down to 9 and did not throw in the towel. Was frantic but glad the ref finally blew at 5pm !!

Stephen we had a centre half during pre-season by the name of Bembo. The guy flew into tackles and took no prisoners, I thought he would have been signed up but wasn’t. I’d have him back to at least toughen us up.

I don't think I'm going out on a limb here when I say that was complete and utter crap. Without a doubt the sort of game that would get football banned.
The full backs are terrible with not a football brain between them. The keeper looked at fault to me for the Stirling goal. He took ages to go down and had a long hard look at it before deciding he better dive anyway. Very preventable goal. I agree with most of what Paul says except I quite like Wharton. He's kind of no-nonsense. He only irks me when he tries the Hollywood pass which rarely comes off. Smart is greedy. And moany without having any real reason to be so.
Three red cards plus their manager and I'm not convinced about any of them if I'm honest. Couple of highlights for me - East putting a diving header over the bar from about 2 feet and no JD or colleague today so we seemed to be sharing Stirling's physio! Never seen that before and quite bizarre.
Just another week in L2 fitba I guess. And at the end of the day a win is a win. Peter is correct though, If Stirling had kept 11 and possibly even 10 on the pitch then I'm not sure we'd have got near them. And at least I've got two weeks to save up for a tea at Hampden.

3 points take. poor performance but thought at time thet moved the ball about not bad, same old story for me but poor choice with some of the passes and always punting the ball up the park when not needed just need calm heads some times. thought Kevin Harper got it spot on with Wilson on won some vital balls at the end. not great but another 3 points.

3 sending offs were the few things the ref got right. The second one for the pen- the boy should be a goalie!

“Whit’s the goalie daein’ Tam”
How does Goodfellow not save that shot?
We have a ticking time bomb in the three goalies we have.

While I agree that was pretty duff today I actually thought Clarke was fairly decent. He got the ball forward regularly and made a couple of vital tackles. Stirling never gave up even when 9 v 11 and could have got back on level terms with a decent break of the ball. It's hard to believe that this is the same team as played the second half v Cove a few weeks ago, frantic at times but hey, three points is three points.
