We have got steadily worse since the league cup. What if such and such scored doesn't cut it. We aren't scoring goals. We can't defend. There is no midfield. No sense of direction. No set team and better players not getting games. Rudderless. I do think we are as bad as last season. Last season the manager didn't know his best team and neither does harper. Other clubs have changed manager and improved. We have a decent squad but no leadership. We should as a senior club not be worrying about fort William who have one of the worst records in Scottish football but we are. That says it all. We should hammer them but right now are willing to accept any win and losing isn't beyond belief. Also if there is unrest in the dressing room then rarely is there any way back for a manager. I have only ever turned against two managers. Lumsden and brogan. Harper looks, unfortunately, like number three. Saturday's post match silence at the final whistle will soon change to calls for dismissal if a miracle doesn't happen. Can't see that. I hate to break it to you Jimbo but at least half of our support are hoping for a draw against Fort William so that a monumental 5 star booze up awaits them in the replay. You make some fair points and at least you don’t personalise like McLurg who blames Smart. All I’m saying is sometimes there is no rhyme nor reason to cup games. The Rovers team that knocked Motherwell out and were 12 minutes away from knocking Rangers out were arguably more average (3rd bottom of the league) than Paul Martin’s team who got knocked out by Sunnybank and then went onto clinch promotion. We should be going into that game in a stone cold professional manner looking to win. If it means by a goal or two so be it.

If it's a draw then better hope for a supporters bus as you can't rely on ScotRail!

The last couple of games that I have seen have been poor. However we are night and day away from where we were under Brogan last year. There really is no comparison. Last year's team were duds to a man with a clueless manager who was completely out of his depth from day 1.
At least this season we have a team of players with a football brain each. Yeah they are underperforming at the moment and Kevin needs to sort that out but he is due a good few weeks to make that happen. Kevin worked a miracle last year and for that alone deserves time to turn this around. A few decent results and we hopefully get some momentum going.
So, having said that what I can't get my head around is what has happened to the 'happy clapper' fraternity? Last year there were very few people giving Brogan this sort of stick early on. Or later on for that matter! Maybe it's just the experience of last year kicking in? At least though there is far more realism on this forum than there was last year.
Anyhoo, when all is said and done Kevin deserves a chance. He demonstrated last year he is a more than capable and decent coach. There might come a time when enough is enough but I think we are at least a few weeks away from that yet.

Can someone show me where I put the blame on our demise on Smart?
And my name is McClurg.
At least be accurate on one thing.

I must be going deaf Bucky because I never heard a single person mention this, not at the ground anyway. Sure the surrounding scenery looks superb at their place but would I want to go there on a cold and wet Tuesday night. Would I heck

Replay would be the following Saturday with the league game postponed. A draw, though, is the least likely outcome from this one. Win or bust!

This cannot happen! I've already booked an overnight stay in Aberdeen on the 26th to celebrate our glorious victory over the Wee Rangers ( they call themselves that now!) - oh aye, and my birthday too.

An overnight stay in Aberdeen for your birthday and not having to watch the rovers? I can see a positive there! 😉
