They couldnt stick up for each other during the game, no point in them sticking up for each other after.

What's actually gone wrong?? Made first few games of season but haven't been able to get back since the 4-4 with Cove. I left that thinking if we could tighten up the defence we could be in the mix for the play offs. We were playing some good football, looked like lots of goals in the team and attitude seemed spot on. But wheels seem to have come completely off. What's happened?? I watched this game yesterday and thought it was a good start and should have been a few more goals to the good at halftime. I agree Rovers allowed Fort William back into the game in the second half but I wouldn't say that the wheels have come off completely. I think it's no more than a confidence issue which is the job of the manager to turn round and I'm sure he will. I also read on previous posts that the manager has lost the dressing room. Nonsense total nonsense. How would anyone know this if they're not privy to what happens or is said in the dressing room or at training. I would also agree one or two players need to pull there socks up but all is not lost at all.

The main difference for me this year is that Kevin clearly is a decent manager at this level - he proved that last year. His recruitment this year and last year has been good. And he got rid of a fair amount of the dross he inherited very quickly. Brogan was terrible and clueless. His recruitment policy was fatally flawed from day 1 and the standard of player he brought in was really poor.
There's obviously something not right at the moment. But for me anyway Kevin is due a bit of time to turn it around. I still don't think he knows what his best starting 11 is and that for me is a worry. But apart from that what do people expect? Seems to be fairly common knowledge that we don't have the finances and budget to pay as much in wages as the other teams in this league. On that basis we won't attract the best players. We're always going to find ourselves at the wrong end of the table and sooner or later we'll finish tenth; of that I've no doubt. Could be this season, could be next but it'll happen.
The time might come for Kevin to exit stage left, hopefully not pursued by a bear; but I still think we're a couple of weeks away from that.

I agree with some of that D7 but not all.
KH got us out of jail last season and for that I am eternally grateful.
The stars aligned for us last season with the 3 points awarded from the Clyde game, then a win, followed by the self implosion of Berwick Rangers.
That was a once in a lifetime scenario and I think as a fan base we recognised that last year.
We knew there was no more Berwicks in the league this season and we had to improve. But have we ?
We cannot compare KH to JB as Brogan was just a bombscare of an appointment.
Is KH clearly a decent manager ? I would say the jury is very much still out on that but on current evidence I would suggest 'no'.
I get the part about attracting players but the lack of effort and commitment from those players yesterday was shocking.
I don't expect too much from Rovers TBH and you are 100% right in the fact that we will drop out of this league within the next few years.
At the very least though I would have expected us to take care of a very poor Fort William.

Fort William aren't the mugs they once were. They've got nine young players on loan from Inverness and I think most of them played yesterday (I didn't hear any teams read out and I was there at 2.50). What has happened to Fotheringham, is he injured? I think he was missed.
Don't agree at all that there was a lack of effort, just a lack of ability. Let's face it, this Rovers side would probably be no better than mid-table in the Highland League.

Give him more time? Words fail me. A draw against a team with a record like that and some are saying give him more time. Just like last year. Brogan needs more time, etc, etc. And where did we nearly end up. Out of the game. Harper may have saved us with an increased budget but the only competition was Berwick. Now he has been tested and failed against most of the league and yesterdays result is the final straw. An utter embarrassment. Do the honourable thing and resign.

Of the 9 players they have on loan 8 started, the oldest of the group on loan is 18 they are 2nd bottom of third league 16th of 17 and are poor let nobody kid you on that they are any better

Correct, Chris, here is their league record for this season - Lossiemouth are bottom with the same points total, but have played two games more. I think all the stats puts some serious perspective on yesterdays result.
Played 10 won 1 draw 0 lost 9 goals for 9 goals against 38 points 3

They are conceding 4 goals a game on average, embarrassing from us

Last season`s Formartine game was a turning point for us (Brogan quit) similarly things got much better for Paul Martin after the Sunnybank disaster - let`s hope yesterday was the rock bottom and it`s upwards from now

Just listened to harper's post match. It's all the players fault. Takes no responsibility himself and talks as if it's a one off blip. How many games have we won recently? How bad have performances been recently? Says it all.
