I know we were spitting bullets last week and we do have our issues but Stenny and Cowden getting horsed out by Penicuik and Broxburn. That is two really bad results. Cowden couldn’t do it in two games that’s a poor show.
Yep, this all day every day; and all night too. EK who have more or less ruled the LL roost the last few years are finding it tough this year against Kelty and newcomers to the party, Bonnyrigg plus others. Unfortunately clubs like Rovers, Stenny, Cowdenbeath, Stirling, QP - they're all going to find themselves flirting with the LL in the next few years. Outside of that there will be other casualties too. Clyde for one are having a decent season but that won't last. The top 4 leagues will be unrecognisable in 10 years time.
What has perhaps missed most folks attention is the cost to club by not beating FW at the first time of asking....travel costs - bus, meals etc to the replay....then travel costs, meals, expenses to players etc to a midweek league match in Aberdeen. It all adds up. Yes, there is the Airdrie tie...but that could have been extra money in the bank instead there was expenditure (unbudgeted) to FW and Cove in midweek.
