Brilliant. Will even praise Goodfellow who's been outstanding recently. All down to fitness. Great to see Byrne finding the net again. Ref had a Jekyll and Hyde day. Solid first half, dreadful second.

Great fighting performance there. 1st half the best in a while only complaint was the on form QP keeper who kept the score down.
A clean sheet too which is brilliant- kept the fight up in the 2nd half and didn’t really get any breaks from the Ref.
Tues night game is now vital.

Probably the performance of the season so far. Byrne's second goal is probably goal of the season too.
Started well and took the game to QP who were dreadful tbf. Could easily have scored before the first goal but QP keeper made a point blank save. Should really have been 3 or 4 up by HT.
QP shelled long balls the whole of the second half without ever really looking like they might score. Goodfellow did have a few good saves - most of which you would probably expect him to make, but given the conditions today he did really well. Wharton again was solid at the back, I swear the guy's head is made of concrete, he can head the ball farther than most people can kick it!
Really poor crowd of less than 300 and really poor wee pr1ck of a referee. He seemed determined to not book any of the QP players despite some tasty tackles. Relished being the centre of attention. I swear that wanting to be a referee should be the very criterion that bars you from becoming a referee.
Pleased for Kevin. One result doesn't make our season but the team looked like a team today. And one who were prepared to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Hopefully he has found his best starting 11 too.
Could have done without Brechin winning today but well done to them too. Really interesting at the bottom of the league. Plenty still to play for and no one in the bottom 6 can think they are safe from relegation.

Cracking first half. Some great football in terrible conditions. Should of been 4 up at half time. Managed game well in second half. not a failure in team today.

Best 45 mins in a long time 1st half. Held on for our lives 2nd half and on another day would have blown it. Keeper made a couple of top saves and we come away with 3 points. Got to be optimistic for Tuesday now

General positive vibe on the thread this evening - must be the Christmas spirit! Another tough one tomorrow though. We've definitely improved over the past month. On that note have to go for a 2-0 victory to the mighty Rovers. LET'S DO THIS!!! JUST SAYING - Prediction??? Outstanding performance from the guys today & a richly deserved 3 points. 2 cracking goals in the first half to seal a comfortable win. Thought our keeper was a MOTM candidate though - some outstanding saves throughout the match. Onwards to beat Cowden on Tuesday!!!!!
