I don't agree with some people's assessments of Krones. Some recent performances have been steady at the back and he appears to be on a learning curve. Also, the late Gordon Lennon was young (perhaps not so young as the loanee under discussion) and relatively untested when he came in some years back and was a standout. I don't know what the new lad will bring to the team but am wiling to concede that KH is rather better qualified than I am to judge a player's potential. I would agree. Said this on a number of occasions!

Have not seen a huge amount of matches this season, but two recent ones, and I agree with Fineen and Littlewoodenhorse, I think Krones does well, and to my mind is improving, so give the guy a break.

I’m really starting to wonder who is watching these games? Krones is woeful and should be nowhere near the starting 11. After our 3-0 pumping at home to the other Albion, I noted a number of folks to the left of the tunnel enthusiastically clapping our side off the pitch. Ah, to have their optimism!

Absolute nonsense. Yes, Krones has had some bad games but so have most of the team. This lad works damned hard every time he pulls a Rovers top on. I thought this was a 'supporters' forum. Let's support and cheer us on to mid table safety by end of March. Good luck to the new lad too. Onwards and upwards. Peter

Jaydee is not only the physio. He is also a fan. It’s still very unprofessional! It’s not as if he can come on here and slate a player who has been playing terrible and then say to the manager but I’m a fan. How do you think that would look on the club? Maybe he just dosent come on here to slate players? Just a though 🤷🏻♂️

Wouldn't expect him to as part of the club but the problem is if any fans do they are shouted down. They can't all be Messi!

Best of luck to the guy but not really what our defence needs. Finally this is a fans forum and having an employee of the club who is loyal to the manager on the forum could be useful but blind loyality could also create a blinkered viewpoint. Better off without it. It’s an open forum where anyone can sign up and join in the topics listed. I have no issues with Jaydee coming on and giving me his perspective, obviously those views may differ from the rest of the coaching staffs point of view but I find them interesting, If the manager wanted to come on here and discuss his decisions that would be helpful as well, but he’d probably be hammered for it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion so just because you don’t happen to agree with something that’s been posted no need to throw the toys out the pram and shoo the guy away.

The problem is of late that any criticism is put down. Perspective, yes but not much use if it's completely ignoring our defensive frailties. This thread started about a young player being signed who was wished all the best but concerns were raised about whether that's what we need and also about certain players for different reasons. All of this was immediately shouted down. Indeed what was said was misrepresented to put down any criticism. Not throwing the toys out the pram just standing up for freedom of debate and not having what was said twisted. The sooner we get a game the better then we can see where we are but apart from the December run we have been awful and our league record confirms that. Criticism has to be allowed and challenged but not blindly. Without it John brogan would have remained in charge and we wouldn't have a club.
