Given the way the game was going at the time, Chris, I would have been greedy, but I accept d7's take on the issue and have no reason to doubt jaydee's reply re dugout input.

Oooft, what a day to feel under the weather and decide to give the game a miss (ok, ok I was hungover, it was my Christmas night out last night - long story, don't ask). From being potentially two points off the bottom based on the half-time scores (or indeed at about 4:39pm by the look of it!), to a six-point gap over Brechin thanks to a couple of late fightbacks with the actual six-pointer coming in seven days, this could well turn out to be a pivotal afternoon. Well done to all the guys, and a special mention to that man Smart - nice one! Lightweight!!!!!!

What a performance absolutely demolished them for 80 minutes with 2 outstanding finishes.
Thought Nicholas McAllister was by far the best and cheapest McAllister on the pitch who looked solid the entire 90 and was not beat once was my man of the match.
Giuliano Morena has to be one of the best midfielder in the league absolutely dominated the middle that’s what we missed last week.
Great saves by Goodfellow and the ball hitting the bar is the bit of luck we’ve not had in 2 years if we win next week we could be set up for a play off push.
We should have had 3 penalties but the ref obviously thought Declan Byrne would rather dive than stick the ball in the empty net just shows how scared the officials are of Cove Rangers and still at the end of the game that wee baldy guy moaning at the ref for god knows what really want to see what he’s like when they lose.

He was moaning about the “multi ball system” I employed for our equaliser. Not sure what he wanted the officials to do about it though 😂😂

great performance and everyone was on it. Never gave up. We should be looking up and not down. Agree. I hope this performance gives the boys confidence to move forward now. Thought we were excellent and at one point thought we just not going to score. When playing it in at the corner in the end I would have preferred it if we had crossed the ball I really wanted us to beat them. However I accept the boys put in a great effort to get us back on level terms and to be honest our corner taking let us down the full day. Three them hit straight out the park. Had some good penalty shouts one for a hand ball. Thought Cove looked as if they just had to turn up to win - what is that pointless warm up they do when running out the tunnel at ko and half time. They fouled the entire game - fair enough if you get away with it. Goodfellow after a shaky start to the season has got better no doubt- saved us twice at the end.

For the supposedly super-rich glamour team they were utterly tedious: no interest in playing any football or even keep the ball in play. Smells of moneyed arrogance to me. Was delighted that Rovers got stuck into the pampered poodles wi' their wee huddle.

Can only add to what has been said about yesterday's game. Superb comeback from the guys against probably the League Champions. 2 great finishes too. Cove's cheating was embarrassing at times! Would have loved to see us go on and beat them. Play like that and we'll beat Brechin next week.
Onwards and upwards!

What's all this about Cove officials slagging us off? Dear me; must be sore on the glamour big team to have six put past them in two games at Cliftonhill. Arrogant sods; worse than Queen's Park.
