Decent 45 mins and two good goals. Looks a shocking night !
Few changes at HT probably with tomorrow in mind ?
As a new fan, is that starting line up the strongest?

No with several trialists playing and a mismatch team it will be weeks before even Brian knows strongest team
3 very poor goals to conceed, all from direct balls straight at the defence
2nd in pertucular with the keeper coming out to 18 yard line when there were 2 defenders there
Goals 2 and 3 were conceeded not long after changes were made to the team
At times looked menacing going forward
will see how tomorrow pans out hopfully better defensively
Early days

I thought 3-2 was a bit harsh and that 5 / 10 minutes around goals 2 & 3 didn't give a true reflection of the game.
There was some good link up going forward and goals were good.
Plenty positives overall I would say

I no these are only friendly games and warm ups for the new league season, but it's a we bit worrying that were letting goals in, I hope Brian works with the players on this to get it put right.

Was reasonably encouraged by the game.
I think most of the starting XI apart from the Keeper were signed and most gave a good account of themselves.
Really early to tell but I was encouraged with some of the passing play in the midfield and also some of our forward play. I know some Ayr / Stranraer fans have mentioned Reid is a "defence first" type manager but it looked like we had a bit of a focus going forward and also a bit more of an idea of what the plan was.
Encouraging that the two Ayr boys seem to have been given licence to bolt forward and cause a bit of havoc on the wings (despite one of them being a full back) the first goal came from their hassling with a really tidy finish.
Goals a bit of a worry although the second I thought the keeper could have done better and the thrid came seconds after we had just made a load of subs so there are mitigating factors.
Also thought the whole live system was really good for the most part. Its not 4KUHD but very watchable, the front end system Airdrie were using for buying and streaming was really simple to use and gave basic score and time graphics hopefully we just set up with them.I've had a look at some of the Prem teams sites and found this one much more user friendly.
All in all it was just nice after 7 months to be able to watch 11 guys in Albion Rovers strips run around a pitch again !

I would say focus on the first half where we were definitely the better team, as has been said the second goal the keeper has had a rush of blood and the third was straight after a raft of changes.
The positives for me in the second half was the performances of some of our young players who came on. Kieron Dolan played 45 mins and did very well up top. Daniel Moran came on at right back and did very well too.
A lot of positives overall 👍🏼

I didn’t watch the game last night, it’s very difficult to tell with these types of games. Probably my only concern is that it’s a very young squad and short on experience during the tough times of the season ( that’s if the season starts and finishes).
Anyone know if Paul Cairney is anywhere near any sort of fitness?
