The camera cant pan from end to end quickly enough which is a shame, as what you could see on the coverage was good i thought. Just a shame that in capturing the build up it cant move quickly enough to see the finish at the end.
I watched the game and although it finished 5-2, I dont think it was a bad performance, but you could tell there was a gulf in quality.
Ayr looked more comfortable with the ball at their feet and happier to keep the ball, whereas Rovers were going back to front early most of the time and looking to win second balls.
I was a little disappointed that your two fullbacks, Wilson and Burke didnt offer you any support going forwards. They barely looked to advance to the half way like and were playing deep crosses. I just felt in possession they could offer a bit more.
Your two standout players for me were Lynas, who not only shows good quality on the ball but tenacity off the ball and Aitken obviously for the 2 goals but being a good foil for Jamieson too.
Looking forward to your next game!

Yes - agree. Promising performance despite the result and the footage was pretty decent. Enjoyed the commentary too. Well done to all for their efforts in getting this on for the fans.

The footage might benefit from zooming in less and it might solve some of the issues with keeping up with play.
As for the team , given Ayr are potentially pushing for play off spot based on last season , the result wasn't too bad. It's another game for the players to get to know each other and full squad to pick from for next Tuesday.
Given tonight and the preseason games I feel there's a decent team in there once they get settled.

Ironically it was the lack of zooming in the 2 games at Airdrie which disappointed us - but their cameras are higher and further from the pitch.

Really enjoyed it -good game and some CoVid escapism. There looks to be a few decent players signed up this year - Aitken looks class and Fozzy looking the part again.
For a first attempt using robot cameras guessing where Scottish League 2 players are firing a ball next...thought it was pretty decent. A lot of background work involved in getting everything in place too by volunteers and benefactors.
Well done Ben and Chappy too on the commentary.

Congratulations to everyone who got this venture up and running. As people have said, it was a really clear picture and showed Cliftonhill in a good light.
There is always going to be teething problems at the start, but hopefully these will be ironed out in the weeks to come and this can become a good source of income for the club while allowing us fans to view games, that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to see.

Shame some couldnt see it, where others were getting it no bother but big problems at annan and mouton too, with the later ending up showing it on YouTube instead

I ended up having to follow Ayr Utd’s account for updates.

Was working last night but it seemed like Rovers were getting pelters on Twitter with many people having paid for,but unable to access the game and demanding refunds.
It's early days but it seems fair to say there was some major teething problems last night.
I think for people to have confidence in this and for the take up to be significant we have to be 100% sure that fans paying for the service are actually able to see the game.
If it is deemed as unreliable people will be reluctant to pay for it.
I know it's a work in progress but a long way to go with this platform for me.

At least we know AI isn't going to take over the world soon although it would still be an improvement on trump!

None of this was the clubs fault though, pixellot have released a statement apologising, If anything the club should claim the money back from them

I'm not attaching blame to the Club.Hopefully it will improve over the coming weeks.
It's all about making it a better experience for everyone.
