Unbeaten in January! Seriously, season might be over. So might the club!

Interesting to hear the radio Scotland team also slaughtering the decision to suspend the lower leagues tonight.

With the exception of Thistle and Peterhead the lack of noise from the clubs about this has been deafening and the media once again only interested in the big boys. Poor show!

Said this on the other thread. It's a rolling review so no guarantees it'll be back in February and suspect it won't be. Other have said it. It could be season over. No faith in the vaccination program either as they are talking August before all vaccinated and that assumes targets are met.

I don’t believe in the rhetoric of consensus. Colin is quite right to give his opinion even if it differs from several other clubs in Leagues 1 and 2 He makes a lot of sense. In my opinion, the next step could be to have a circuit breaker in the top 2 leagues also. As a country we are in the middle of a a dangerous worsening health crisis. Let’s talk about kicking a ball again when the number of deaths and new cases are falling and the R number is consistently under 1 Ronnie

Surely the league would have to be declared null and void if it doesn't get the go ahead immediately thereafter?

Surely the league would have to be declared null and void if it doesn't get the go ahead immediately thereafter? Wouldn’t surprise me if the SPFL asked League 1 and 2 to consider a half season of 18 games before making a call to end the season

Surely the league would have to be declared null and void if it doesn't get the go ahead immediately thereafter? Even if it gets the go ahead on the 10th for starting back on the 15th I can’t see any games being played before the start of March. All teams will essentially need to do a pre season again.

The news story said that teams wanted a March start with testing.

Looks like an 18 game league for this season - and that is being optimistic ! If they start in March only about 8 Saturdays until May - unless they allow midweeks which would be madness for Part Time players - A Pulitzer Prize for whatever SFL official comes up with a uniformed decision !
