Thanks to everyone who braved the cold to attend tonight.
It was a really challenging two hours. Special mention to all those who took the mic and made points/asked questions - your passion for ARFC shone through.

I'm surprised that there has been so little said about this meeting last night. Anyone care to enlighten we overseas readers?

The meeting was a sh!tshow, poorly run by a Board who are clearly feeling the strain. Paul Reilly came across as a bullying, egotistical moron, adept at misrepresenting others’ comments, contemptuous of supporters and who would load the club with massive debt if he ever took the reins.
The only positives were comments from Sandy Clark and the work of Bobby Campbell (new director), who at least has a vision for improving facilities.
In terms of setting out where the club is going (one of the agenda items), the meeting was a failure.

The only positive thing about last night was Sandy Clark, when he spoke everyone listened, no interruptions whatsoever, he spoke about all of us have to be united and he’s right, other than that the meeting was a disaster

The over the top show by Paul Reilly was as bad as the embarrassing performance by the board. Worrying times ahead for the club

I have no idea who 'Paul Reilly' is. Why is he so interested in Rovers, and does he have any 'backers' among people we know at the club? For someone with no connection to the club his very deep interest in us is a mystery to me.

Mr Reilly was an embarrassment in my opinion degrading fans who pay their hard earned money supporting the club and asking them what they have done fans provide the club with support beyond imaginable. We all play our part in this great club. Reilly doesn’t care about the club the 500k loan to lowland league what business sense does that make for any board to accept leaving the club at the pearl of his mercy . I personally do not trust him. There’s talented people in our support I would love to see them more involved. We’ve an outstanding community trust who do fantastic work in the community which is very inspiring to see and the supporters trust provide great backing to the club. Reilly must not alienate these people if he ever does get into charge which I personally could never support mr Reilly plans but I have the utmost respect for those that back his ideas . Just a Shame Mr Reilly doesn’t show any respect to anyone that disagrees with him

So Reilly to remain an irrelevance?

Did this person seriously call the supporters 'irrelevant'? Who at the club supports him? His plan is to give the club a loan? Whit?

I didn’t manage the meeting last night but note that there are two things we already know. Change is required at the club to at the very least give some direction . Secondly Reilly doesn’t have money per se. ARFC would take a huge loan to be given to him and his group to play about on the stock market and he comes back giving the club free money. I’d be astonished if shareholders went with this.
Finally if the fans are “irrelevant” I take it as Chairman Reilly would be manning the turnstiles/selling programmes 50/50’s, pies, bovrils/ selling strips in the club shop all by himself?

Surely it’s time those who back Reilly went public and explain to the rest of us why they are willing to support the takeover bid of an arrogant chancer who seems to hold Rovers fans in complete contempt.

Mr Reilly from the outset attempted to divide the current board by prompting them to personalise their opinions about each other a very tacky Start to the evening.
He stated he represented a consortium who remain unidentified inspite of requests to do.
After his tyrannical antics it was stated he represented a group who had a five year plan which included Albion Rovers FC as part of an other development Plan nearby.
For all the finger pointing, his general conduct towards fans he clearly under represented the consortium he claimed to represent. As such he lost support in what should have been an oppurtunity to be constructive in the way ahead for our club.
Yes things are tough just now and support for the board may well be obtained in the correct forum. The majority of the board were supportive of an EGM which will hopefully be more constructive.
Mr Reilly let himself down and if there was meat on bone at all the case was not convincing at all.
