Best day out for a long time. Felt this was coming and we always play well on artificial turf. Weathered the storm for quite a long time but deserved the win. Massive congratulations to everyone involved. And over 140 rovers fans there today. Brilliant.

Typically not able to come today after recent performances .
Never seen that coming in a million years, actually speechless cause I wouldn't have bet on them beating a girls u12s. Can only hope they can keep it going and I might actually see something half decent at one point.
Seriously well done 👍

Just back from game, I had a feeling we would do better in today's game away than we would in the return game at Cliftonhill this Saturday but no one could have predicted that. We got forward in the first minute and Joe did well to get past his man and squared it to Niyah who hit it first time into the top corner. It was a cracking goal and sent our crowd behind the goal into uproar. We then sat back and they got forward and had us under the cosh for long spells but we defended brilliantly . The first 20 mins was more of the same but we were brilliant in defence to keep them out and Ross in goals had some incredible saves. Then Joe went on a driving run down from the left wing and took his marker to the cleaners with his pace and slammed a cracking shot into the net to make it two nil. EK kept coming at us with pace but we kept them out and we got a free kick up the other end and someone squared it to Barry Duncan who slammed it in to the bottom corner to make it 3 nil. Sandy made some subs and he took Kasa off for Dunn and Paton off for Tran. Not long after this they eventually scored. Sandy got his tactics spot on and I will give the team immense credit for the win. Ek had some brilliant players including their right winger who reminded me of Kevin Crunchie Mcallister in his prime. He will need to marked closely in the return game on Saturday including their stiker who was a good player but he unnecessary pushed Reidy and was booked after Reidy stopped him with a brilliant slide-tackle. I thought Joe, Kasa, Reidy and Ross Connelly for several top drawers saves all had fantastic games. Really enjoyed the game and it was a fantastic 3 points against a strong team and we had a fantastic away support. More of the same on Saturday please and let's go for the double. We need to build on this result.

Well, I feel that Rovers will rise to the occasion. A lot of their recent games, EK have struggled and we have never lost there. Time to rise and shine Rovers. Well rised and shined Rovers! I am claiming some of the credit for this unforseen (by many) victory, only two other Rovers supporters went for a win Just typical, we beat the league leaders, and drop a place in the league! Onwards to Cliftonhill!

A terrific team performance today. Not sure if that was the planned tactic today or it was thrust upon us due to the early opening goal but it was brilliantly carried out. Every player stuck to their own task and although difficult at times, especially if you were Connor Duffy, they weathered the storm and picked off the big spenders. Their right winger, sorry didn’t catch his name, was terrific and the big fella had a job on his hands trying to play him. It would be hard to pick out any individuals as I thought each one of them done what was asked.
Enjoy what’s left of Christmas guys… it’s well deserved

Great result and comments suggest a sound performance. I chose to spend the afternoon with family rather than watch more dross, got it wrong again. Reminds me of last season when we went away to the league leaders and humped them, then slid further downhill. I hope this is the beginning of a resurgence, but won't hold my breath.

Typical rovers to pull that out of the bag! EK must have been on the lash yesterday even more than the Prof! Should I stay away on Saturday so I don't jinx them? 🤔

Quite amusing to listen to the humble and most eloquent EK manager crying about his 'ambitious and at the top of the league on pure merit' team losing, despite 'total domination'. What a prick. Hahahahaha. GIRFUY.
