******* match off due to a waterlogged pitch ******* Tuesday 2nd April LL v East Kilbride home 7.45pm k-o Admission Adults £11, Concessions (OAPs, Students, People not in work, 14-17 year old) £6, Under 14 £3, Carers free Season tickets valid - token 16 Pay at the gate cash or card As we all know big spending EK sit atop of the table with a whopping 72 points from 30 matches and need just a single point from this match to secure the title and a place in the Lowland League v Highland League play-off to face SPFL "team 42". Rovers are currently 8th in the table with 45 points from 30 games played. Impressive as EK's record this season is, as detailed below Rovers have won every game they've played against EK (click to enlarge) most recently our 3-1 triumph at the K Park on Boxing Day. This also marks EK's first ever visit to Cliftonhill. Sean Fagan returns to Cliftonhill for the first time since we sold him to Mick Kennedy's team. I forecast a 1-1 draw and an EK party. It shall be interesting to see how many EK fans make the short journey from South Lanarkshire for this hugely important tie.

Albion Rovers 2, EK 0. A huge away support of around 17 to roar the EK pampered poodles on to defeat.

Tuesday 2nd April LL v East Kilbride home 7.45pm k-o Sean Fagan returns to Cliftonhill for the first time since we sold him to Mick Kennedy's team. Reminder Sean is and always will be a great Rovers player - gave 100% every game etc. etc. He was offered money and the club received a good pay day when he signed for a month or so - So a no brainer he had to take the offer. I'm sure we will give him a good reception when he returns tomorrow ! Tee

Don't think this team has the stomach for it if I'm honest. 0-2 to EK

Although I think we are pretty sound defensively I don’t think we are a threat up front, a strange comment considering NJ is on 30 goals in all competitions. EK battered us last time around and their two wingers were excellent that day. Can’t see us getting away with it again this time especially with no out ball in Bevan to relieve the pressure.
Happy to be proved wrong but it’s 0-2 for me

EK battered us, eh? A 3-1 win after a battering will be just fine, haha!! They are toast: not used to playing in front of spectators.

A doing is in prospect, I am afraid.
Rovers can prove us all wrong, and then we can queue up and eat humble pie.

Could go either way tonight, the team we have this season seems to play a lot better when the pressure is not on them, so we’ll see what happens

In the last game against them Joe set up Niyah on a plate for a goal with a brilliant bit of skill and he ran from his own half to score a cracking second. I agree with Sam his runs will be a big loss in this game and we are really struggling to score goals. They missed plenty of chances before and it was a reall smash and grab victory. I expect Sandy will setup to defend and play on counter again.Sean has been a big loss to our defence but I thyink if Bright Starts he will cause him more problems than Niyah. I think we will score tonight but 3-1 away win. Hope I'm wrong !
