Great result. I'd have taken the point before ko but to get 3 is a real bonus. Upwards and onwards. Well done to the team and the foot soldiers who made the trip.

Excellent result tonight and a very important one. Unfortunately I couldn't attend tonight due to personal circumstances but would like to say well done to the MFRSC troops and fellow fans for making the journey

Following on BBC Scottish Football - great much needed win. At last, we've moved forward from the 28 point spot. Good to see new lads Archibald & Petrie starting & Scott McBride bagging a couple of goals. Congrats to all.

Good gritty performance, real team effort and deserved win. Loved Mick's reaction at the end, let's hope we've had our dip and can start looking up again rather than down.

If Fish is suspended on Saturday he'll be missed. Good to see we had a full bench tonight as well. Barrowman obviously fit again too will give us more options up front, especially if he finds his shooting boots.

Massive 3 points - which were thoroughly deserved. Battled for every ball and Micks reaction at the end was priceless. We've also found some player in the young lad Archiebald. Thankfully the ref never ruined our 3 points - some baffling and funny decisions tonight.. Mon' the Rovers !

A great and deserved 3 points tonight. It wasn't pretty on a pitch that was barely playable but we dug it out with a fantastic defensive performance in the 2nd half that kept Cowden at arms length. That came from every Rover on the park. 2 wonderfully composed finishes from Scott McBride - the second could have been offside - A cowden player cleared the ball and it rebounded back into Scott's path and he tucked it away into the top corner. If it had rebounded off a Rovers player he was offside - if a Cowden man he was on. My view wasn't clear so can't say for sure either way, but we were certainly due a break given some decisions in past few weeks. Young Archibald had a lot of nice touches and looks a very decent propsect. But tonight was a team effort and eases some of the panic that was starting to materialise on here. ah - Cowdenbeath on a February midweek - magic, just magic!!

Entertaining game on a terrible surface. Some of the refs decisions were, to say the least, strange! Had backs to the wall towards the end but defended well and saw the game out. We didn't create as many chances but McBride made no mistake and finished well. As above... Young guy Archibald put in a shift (as did all). Well done!!!!!!!!

As many have said already - worst refereeing performance I've seen for a few years now - Nish was going ballistic and giving his plastic water bottle a good kicking. Thought we were the better side in the 2nd half with the first being pretty even. Seemed to me that Darren told the boys to get stuck in at half-time as we were being pushed around a wee bit up front with no protection from the ref. Lost count of the number of times their big centre halves barged into McBride off the ball. Conditions were awful and the game must just have been given the go ahead - lots of sawdust on the park.
Two great strikes to win the game - something I think we have been lacking this year - Josh's thunderbolt against the Pars excepted.
Great all round team performance with McBride being the standout - not just for his goals but all round work rate exemplified by a 40 yrd run to make a defensive tackle near the end of the game. New boys also looked good and with Barrowman back I think we are in fine fettle for the trip to Stranraer. Looking forward to it already!

The pitch was a bit weather beaten and good to see the sleeves rolled up and getting stuck in. Standside linesman smiled on us last night too, funny watching the antics with the home bench. Well done lads a good nights work.

Anyone know if there's any highlights? Don't think so...bit of a bummer eh! Looked on their site ....BB tv....blank page Looked on their twitter, they put links of home matches. Last one was Ayr but it was Ayr tv. Must have taken their own video. Definately a camera positioned on a tripod at the back of the home enclosure last night. Maybe for their own use though? Would like to see the goals again, if anyone finds the highlights, let us know.

Great result for the guys last night - great way to end our "mini-slump".
Yes - 2 excellent finishes from Mr. McBride to win the match.
Not much in the game however we deserved our win - our first at Central Park for 10 years-had no idea it was that long!
So - up to 5th place and with games against the two teams directly above us up next-suddenly things are looking rosy again!
Thanks to all the guys who travelled on the coach to a VERY cold Central Park last night-it was BALTIC sitting in the stand, even with 3 layers on-love Winter football.
