I make that 11 goals in 8 matches away from home for Alan Trouten, he's scored in single every one of them.
But while Alan is making Scott Chaplain look like Josh Flood at one end of the park, I'm starting to lose my high hopes for our other star signing Jason Marr...maybe he's simply not the player he used to be and Alloa were right to let him go.
(Let this post be the jinx that kick-starts a run of clean sheets when Jason returns)
Is Daniel Lightbody injured and does that mean we only have two defenders fit to play next week?

That pitch is a disgrace. Ruins any chance of a decent game.

A draw for 9 men in't too bad I suppose, a good fighting spirit latterly. Our defending at the 2 goals was absolute crap and poor in that order.

Not sure If Marr is tying just too hard, but probably another deserved red for him today. refs just don't like hard challenges anymore. Thought we actually played better when he went off and the subs went on. Felt like a win at the end. Thank god that shot never went in at the end - we were due a bit of luck. Connor could have bloody won it. We were below par today and just about deserved the point. God knows who will play next week. Loan signing please !

Definetly feels like a win. A hard fought second half, didn't think that both of Marrs challenges were bookings. Fair play to the manager for not sitting back after we went down to 10 men, quite the opposite actually by bringing Vitoria on. As for next week Fisher could play at right back with Alan Reid on the left to cover McLaughlin. As for centre back though it could be a real headache

Perry has taken a lot of stick this year, but I thought today he stepped up to the plate when we started to lose bodies - he was a rock in the closing spell.

Perry was my man of the match: second half he was superb. Definitely feels like a win: how the f--k did that ball crawl along the goal-line at the end? A really proud battling display in the end. We missed Davidson hugely, so hope he starts v Forfar. Trouten is a genius. Connor, next time you are through on goal, just belt it one lad!!

Fair play to Rovers for last 35 mins, but we play like and defend like an amateur team at times. We invite pressure onto us and cannot defend a cross for our lives. That is the worst Airdrie team I have seen in living memory, and if I had dived like that in my time, my team mates would have lambasted me for cheating. We were bad,but if Airdrie have to do that to win a game, I would rather lose with dignity. The ref was a disgrace full stop.

Brilliant 2nd half performance today. Almost 300 Rovers fans. Where are they when we are at home? Thought Perry was excellent.

A hugely important point, and well-deserved. Yes, was a very healthy support for Rovers today. As well as Perry, Alan Reid was also very impressive today. Anyway, Forfar match is an absolute must-win. No fannying aboot: do it!

Saw McMullin play left back and centre half in pre-season friendlies, quite impressed, and have been quite surprised that he has not had a run in either position, so Saturday looks like a chance to give him a start in either position.
