Brilliant performance by the boys last night! Too often in the past Rovers teams have been out-fought at places like East End Park - not this one. Gave as good as we got and totally deserved our point. Two fabulous saves from Ross Stewart will hopefully make up for his mistake at this venue earlier in the season and for me he along with the 2 Dunlops were out best players on the night. Honorable mention to Ross Davidson too for some wonderfully timed tackles.
Dunfermline are easily the best team in this league and El Bakhtaoui the best player I have seen this season but we have now taken 2 points from them with every chance of getting more at Cliftonhill in April. A key moment for me was Mick Dunlops err "robust" challenge on El Bakhtaoui - he never kicked a ball after that and seemed content to limit his contribution to marking the keeper as he was kicking the ball out.
Two points from the last two games is an excellent return - I'd have been happy with one - but now we need to keep up that standard against the lesser lights. It's not inconceivable that we could get 9 points from our next three games and be sitting pretty in 4th on Easter Sunday!

Magnificent effort from Rovers: battled for everything, and a tremendous point. I was with the Dunfermline folk for hospitality before the match, and the talk was of 'a hard match' against the Rovers; how right they were. I am immensely proud of the entire team, and last night showed we need fear absolutely no-one, and won't be easily beaten. Ya beauty!! Mind you, as I was sitting in the stand surrounded by Fifers, I had to behave when we scored, which was very difficult indeed.

DAFC supporters tweet below - bit slow but quite fair when chatting about Rovers game. t.co/HJ1paAdsQK ( High praise for Talu, McBride pat on the back and much praise for Darren Young (they suggested Manager of the Season League 1) and the set up of the team, and a discussion on which of Rovers and Airdrie are the better side.

Can only add to the comments of the other guys who were there last night - Rovers were superb and battled so well for the full 90 minutes. Ross Stewart made at least a couple of outstanding saves at important moments too.
Their goal was simply a great powerful strike from the guy - not much Ross could have done about it.
We reacted superbly though to level the score within a couple of minutes.
We even managed to gain entry to Legends Bar this time for a pre-match beer!
So - 12 points clear of the relegation zone with just 8 games to play.
Let's get this secured ASAP!
