looks like Ricardo will miss next weeks game with a hamstring injury. McEwan junior, Bobby scored again yesterday - I'll tell him to bring his boots next week !

We've won 3 games in the league since November yet we're still only 4 points off the play off places with a game in hand! Truly bizarre. Our next 3 games are: Airdrie away, Dunfermline at home then Ayr away! Anyone for a treble?!!?

Bucky-you're the original glass half-empty man indeed. Yes, it was a bad result yesterday however we're almost certain to secure our place in a higher League after promotion for the 2nd time in a few years - Cheer up man.

The problem on Saturday wasn't taking our chances - it was creating them in the first place. Despite what folks say about Barrowman, at least when he's playing we have some focus to our attack. This was lacking on Saturday. Brechin were definitely much improved - they have brought in some good players and their No.10 Thompson was outstanding up front - even if he did have dodgy highlights Chris!

Forfar and Brechin are on great runs and anyone from us - below could end up in a dog fight, some massive 6 pointers coming up. form guide isnt great viewing >> FORM GUIDEWe probably need two wins and a draw to be safe. Other teams will obv take points off each other.... 6 games left.... 26 Mar - Airdrieonians vs Albion Rovers 2 Apr - Albion Rovers vs Dunfermline Athletic 9 Apr - Ayr United vs Albion Rovers 16 Apr - Albion Rovers vs Cowdenbeath 23 Apr - Albion Rovers vs Forfar 30 Apr - Stenhousemuir vs Albion Rovers

From the general chit chat among fans , it seems that The Beast wanted to leave , if that is the case, I am happy the manager was eager to move him on.The lack of Saturday matches, then the two games in a week for a spell was very disruptive and I think the boys can not be faulted for their effort nor their spirit, sadly we suffer from the same afflications as virtually every Club in Scottish Football, firstly no money and secondly no consistent goalscorer. From the reports of Saturday, I missed due to family stuff, it seems that we struggled to make chances, that is a worry, but, I am sure that Darren and the lads wll be doing everything they can to make sure we stay up, tbh, when the team was playing well and winning, it was without Big John, so I don't think that is as big a talking point. Maybe I am also a half glass person, because I never envisaged aything else for this season other than a battle to stay up and consolidate our position after last seasons triumph, that will be the marker for my season.

It's not just scoring that's a problem, we've conceded some really costly late goals too. Forfar, Peterhead and then Saturday. Hard to believe Stranraer are now in the top 4 but another team on a run at the right time of the season. As Airdrie games go Saturday is a really big one, 2 teams struggling and can't help thinking it will decide who between us still has play off ambitions and who will be more concerned with the other end of the table.

everyone seems frustrated about our lack of a goalscorer, but if you go on Pie & Bovril, it seems almost every set of fans at our level are the same, so where do we find a goalscorer from? we can't buy one, there does not seem to be many "free tarnsfers" strikers around, the "loan" route causes problems...so what's the answer ?...I don't have one !

Manager bemoaning missed chances again on Saturday The only one I can think of was Spaz in the 2nd half hitting the side net after a good run - but it wasn't what you would call a gilt-edged one. Anyone remember another chance we missed?
