The weather has been a bit ropey lately but the forecast looks ok for this game being on.
Things haven't been good lately to say the least but I feel we're going to start a wee bounce back and predict a 1-1 draw.

They didn't need to be very good to beat us at Starks - we gifted then 3 goals. If we can tighten up at the back ( big if!) we can get something from this one.

Let's return some sanity to the board.
3-1 to Raith.

Let's return some sanity to the board. What has sanity to do with being a Rovers fan?

Well the last time we played Raith at home we were playing so well and had just hammered alloa 5-2 the previous week. Raith hadn't lost a single game at the time but I was so confident rovers would beat them I stuck them on a coupon at 4/1 with 4 other dodgy games and I took William hill to cleaners with a grand a half win which helped me settle into new flat and basically paid my drop in wages after moving companies to one that paid there wages a month lie time.
Not so confident this time but if we can keep it tight at the back and Brian plays the right strikeforce up front I fancy our chances.

Looks like Albion rovers played alot better this time around, could of won it, if it wasn't for that marr og, but 2-2 we got a point, and thats a good point to start getting us up the table, am happy.

Marr was unlucky with og and that aside i though he had a good game, infact i think they all did.Well deserved point. Special mention to the ref though who was top notch,,who needs VAR when we have officials as good as this.
Defence looks much more of a unit now and keepers a big part of that.Hopefully a sign we are at a turning point.

Agree with Sharkey. Overall it was a decent team performance. Just feels like too little too late. I like Marr and I'm probably his biggest supporter on here. But it's just not going to happen for him at the Rovers I'm afraid; just one of those things.
Mbayo was deservedly man of the match, very solid at the back. Keeper looks good. Full of confidence and not afraid to come off his line.
Even by the standard of refereeing in this league, today's numpty was dire. How he failed to see the Raith keeper save the cross-cum-shot and award a goal kick is astonishing. The fact that led to the free kick they scored from was just taking the p1ss. I'm sure Brian will be raging at that but he has to be even more raging at the lack of defending that left them with a free header for the goal. To be fair it was a decent free kick delivery and a good header.
So a point is much better than I thought we'd get today but we're still winless since I was in short trousers and down to 9th. You really wouldn't have thought there was virtually the length of the league between the teams but we're 9th on merit. Decent enough performance though it was, we still look relegation candidates.
Special mention again for Alan Trouten. Outside of his 2 goals he put himself about and looked lively most of the afternoon. I'm surprised he didn't move on in January and there'll be no shortage of takers for him next season. Who knows, his goals might just be enough to keep us in this league for another season.

That’s Trouten onto 26 for the season, with 18 in the league
Anyone know who the last rovers player to score 30 in a season?
