So now that we've secured our place in League 1 for a 2nd season(and assuming we don't get promoted to the Championship!) who do we want as new opponents/trips next season?
Confirmed are - Alloa & East Fife
Possibles are - Livingston, Clyde, Queens Park, Annan & Elgin
Quite like the trip to Alloa & Methil's not TOO bad either!
Regarding the others I wouldn't mind Livingston(nice stadium) and Annan(a nice trip and always a hassle free day out-great social club too).
It's always a novelty visiting the National Stadium too.
Definitely NOT Elgin - too far!

"Methil's not too bad" Prof, just curious as to what your definition of "bad" might be? Was it not the bus trip to Methil last year where we had the whole 'toilet-gate' situation? I think it was. Memories indeed.
The EF stadium is certainly decent and modern. Strangely located in the back of an industrial estate and virtually right on the sea front. The wind kind of howls off the sea and certainly keeps you from nodding off! Can't wait to go there on a freezing Tuesday night in November!
Sneak into the centre stand at Hampden and you get the cushioned seats. And the polite banter of the QP fans of course. Tea is about 3 quid a cup right enough so I'll be taking a flask, haha!

Don't think Dumbarton will come down them and livis next game are against qos and st mirren (not sure who plays who) can't see either taking points
I would like Livingston down and Queen's Park up with Peterhead and Forfar and Brechin leaving us, think it would be interesting to see all 4 Angus teams in the same division too

I fancy Elgin - always liked going there for some reason! Don't like going to Livi at all and although I quite like the train journey and drinks at the Rock bowling club in Dumbarton I'm not too keen as we rarely do well there.

You are a masochist David I'll give you that. My own preference would be Queens Park and Dumbarton- purely on the grounds that they normally bring a good travelling support through which would boost the olde coffers
