To be honest I've been expecting something like this. Not sure where he will end up next season, but fairly sure he will get offers. After reading about his managerial ambitions on the official web site its, when... not if. Some of our players will have attracted interest from other clubs as well. Not sure who has already been signed or been offered extensions?

Not sure who has already been signed or been offered extensions? Ross Dunlop is signed for next season, I guess no new offers would be made to others until the Club were sure which league they would be in next term.

Wonder what odds on him being Celtic manager now that Delia (spelling?) has packed it in.

Wishful thinking? Will probably get pelters but don't think he'll be going anywhere. Think he's reached his limit and his petty treatment of some players has blotted his copybook for me anyway.

Managers get judged on results and Young's track record is outstanding - QOS would be lucky to have him.
His treatment of Ciaran Donnelly and John Gemmell was certainly "unsentimental" - they are club heroes, and deserved an appropriate send-off - but it was probably the right time for each of them to take a step down when they did.
More topically, I insist DY was right not to change the team who pulled off the 0-0 at Alloa (the first team in the league to keep a clean sheet against them) aside from the injured Ryan Wallace. If he is smart he'll know that Saturday is the right time to use his squad and make a few changes - Fisher being one of them!

I think Darren has done a good job over the years but I'm not sure I'd go as far as "outstanding". Ciaran I didn't see enough of to have an opinion and I think he got Gemmell probably about right although he could have been used more as an impact player as opposed to, for example, putting Mick up front. Chappy I think is another one who maybe didn't get the game time he merited.
Just to say that the team which kept Alloa at bay for the first hour didn't have Fish in it. The team which kept Alloa out and then created at least three chances at the end where they could have nicked it had Fish in it.

Some very fair points, D7, Scott Chaplain happens to be my all-time favourite Rovers player and it was disappointing that he spent so much of his last season warming the bench. But: #1. We had a much bigger squad that season, and #2. We won the league and you can't really say fairer than that!
I wasn't at the Rec but your point about Fisher certainly also applies for the Airdrie game. But while he has always made use of his players over the course of a season, making changes to a successful starting line-up just hasn't been Young's style ever since he came to Cliftonhill. (Is it another possibility that Gary simply hasn't been fit enough to start?)

Didn`t Fish disappear for a few weeks to get married /honeymoon etc during the season - hence losing his place
