Indeed he did, and that might be the reason for aforementioned (possible) lack of fitness. In any case I'm confident he will become a bigger part of the team as the season continues. Once he's back in the number 4 shirt it'll be his for the long run - provided he avoids injury or, perhaps more likely, suspension.
Anyway, getting back on topic my point was that I don't have any major problems with Young's man-management. He knows what he likes, almost all of this successful squad have been his own signings, and while I was skeptical about some of his choices, especially last Summer, he has gone on to pass every test with flying colours.

Fair enough albino, can't argue with that.
Grant - Fish got married in early September and it's nearly Christmas! Well kind of.

Absolutely agree with Fisher starting: it's a must. Nonetheless, this is the most successful Albion Rovers XI since the 1930s. We could do with remembering that sometimes, as we get used to living in a higher division.

Agree that this is a great time to be an Albion Rovers supporter, need to check the 1930s records, might be best ever.
Davie Sneddon did OK, Paul Martin did well, but Darren Young has done better than either, credit also to Sandy Clarke and Billy Stark as assistants. Darren got us up, kept us up, punching well above our weight and budget. We will miss him when he moves on. I don't agree with every decision Darren makes but the results and league position are there for all to see.
Just to throw in a wee hand grenade, Ralph Brand did not last over long (73-74) but what a great team he put together.
