I predict a 3-1 loss - at least bagging our 1st comprlettitve goal of the season.

Morton are already out - so I may fancy a bit of an upset - fancy 1 -1 and then to win on penalties !

Think I might miss this one as a troublesome heel is making driving uncomfortable. Based on reports on the first couple of matches and what I saw on Tuesday I think we'll keep the score down to respectability - look forward to competing against sides at our level.

A heavy score line, and not even one rovers player can score a goal in this cup competition, and do you thing when the new season starts next week rovers will do better.

I wasn’t at the game, so can I comment??. Doesn’t look good on the updates but that’s all I will say as I don’t want to upset anyone from the rovers officials entourage. Don’t want to be called out on it as it appears to be a touchy subject.

I can honestly say that this was one of the most depressing displays by a Rovers team in many a long day-and I've seen some poor games. Players didn't look at all interested. Nothing up front (Green was quick but had no support). Lewis and Lawrence nos. 7 and 8 were good. Barry (4) was good in parts. No. 3 was OK. Keeper made some good stops but struggled as match went on. So disappointed after such good display against Ayr and Partick. Let's hope next week is better.
Great to see free pies after the match. Not that I could have any. Peter

It was a tough group, it was always going to be hard to get out of it or indeed get anything out of it. The season really does start on Saturday, if we get a pasting I'd be incredibly worried.
What is utterly depressing is the apparent lack of shots on target, it really doesn't bode well going into the new league season. 0 wins, 0 points, 0 goals & barely any shots surely must have an impact on morale already.
To be honest, over the summer, as the signings were being announced my initial thoughts were "wow, it seems like we're assembling a squad for competing in the lowland league" I didn't post anything at the time as it is probably far too negative and nothing so far has changed my opinion.
Prove me wrong Rovers, please prove me wrong!

Edinburgh City had a great 4-2 win over Stranraer - they seem to have found THEIR shooting boots !

Somewhat sad when it appears that a season`s success will be measured if we finish second bottom.
