he just doesnt belong in senior football he doesn't know the first thing about it. We're witnessing Albion Rovers turning into a junior club before our very eyes
I'm not coming back to watch a junior club. Brogan out.

Again no conspiracy theories, I think the existing board has done a tremendous job of running the day to day operations of the club, but lack real knowledge, experience and are fearful of incoming knowledge and experience as they feel they will lose control? I think the time is here for meaningful dialogue, my fear is all their good work will be lost in the anger that they precided over the demise of a historical footballing establishment, I don't think this is fair. If the BOD had wanted meaningful dialogue they could have responded to the `Open Letter` - they chose not to.

Sorry Grant you mentioned the open letter, this is in another thread so I’m fully expecting your comment to be deleted.

Why not make the letter official and send 1 in I honestly believe no chairman in the country would reply to somone on an unofficial forum

You have a point, Chris, and who knows that will happen. Transparency hasn`t been a strong point at ARFC recently, hence making the offer via a public forum. The BOD could have communicated off line but chose not to do so .

I just suggested dialogue as it makes sense, the boards also not going to listen to anyone posting on here it was just my opinion it would make sense.

There was also the point of bringing hope to Rovers supporters that there was some good people out there trying to reach out to the current BOD who seem to think that they - and only they - can halt the club`s headlong rush to oblivion

If we sack the manager is there anyone else of recognisably superior quality who'll beat our door down to come in and who has a bunch of currently uncommitted players who would come and play for practically hee-haw? I doubt it.

I doubt it. I think so. I would actually say that, in a way, it’s an attractive proposition to someone looking to get back in to the game. Keeping us up? That would be a huge achievement - and not impossible. But, the longer we leave it, the harder it will be to salvage something from the whole situation. Brogan should be sent packing. Applications will come in - it’s up to the BOD (and the ‘recruitment committee, whatever pi*h that is!) to choose the most suitable candidate for the job. Preferably someone with half decent contacts in the senior game. With bated breath we wait...

Jordie is spot on. The job would be perfectly suited to someone with a point to prove in the game.
What's the worst they can do? 11 defeats in 11 games and rock bottom of the SPFL ranks, a 9th placed position - at this point - would be taken by most of the rovers fans and would be recognised as a positive achievement both within and outside of Cliftonhill circles.
But what's the point in speculation in regards on who wants or would be interested in the job. The board aren't listening, my worry, along with several others on this forum is that people will simply stop paying £13 to watch us getting humped every other week and rovers shall diminish not just their SPFL status but their status as a football club entirely.
'Open letters' and 11 defeats in 11 games etc is obviously not enough for the board to realise how severe the situation is, the question is.....
What is?
Sincerely A Very Very Despondent Rover

anyone with experience and contacts wanting back into management would see the rovers job as a nothing to lose situation so may as well go for it. bring him in NOW give him 3 months to try to steady the ship then make changes in January, see if we can scrape 9th if we end up in 10th then at least the new squad he builds will have time to gel before the play off

I can't be the only one who is not going to be back until changes are made. i didn't want to do it like that I thought the club might listen if the fans on mass still paid the club the money and then no showed/held a walk out but instead the club is going to lose money because it seems like it's the only way Ronnie will listen

Some guy just posted this on twitter....sums it all up really
`Incredible to think that less than two years ago, Livingston lost a home league game against Albion Rovers. Now one is joint-second in the Premiership and the other is literally at the bottom of the SPFL with 0 points from 6 games.`

I agree with Chris - formally write to the Board as a shareholder
